Fomgz! I haven't posted a new story in like... Forever! (I guess it's because I lost interest in a lot of the shows I used to watch) But I'll post this one to hopefully make up the lost time. :D Enjoy!

Ugh, my head...

The sound two people yelling in the house made my already throbbing head hurt even worse. 'Shut up,' I thought. 'Can't you see that my head is exploding in here?'

A small moan escaped my throat, alerting the body next to mine that something was wrong. I heard the shuffle of sheets and felt the bed dip slightly as the person moved closer to me.

I brought my knees up to my chest, and wrapped my arms around my stomach, hoping that this would relieve that stabbing pains inside. It didn't.

"Deidara?" I heard Tobi ask with unmistakable concern in his voice. 'Go away,' I mentally pleaded with him. 'I don't want you to see me like this.'I grunted nonetheless, trying to answer without actually speaking--knowing that if I did, I would probably throw up.

"Deidara, are you sick?" I winced slightly. I never got sick. Being sick was a weakness, and I certainly wasn't weak. There was absolutely no way that I was--Ouch.

I hadn't realized that I'd answered his question after a small whimper left my mouth. I hurried to explain, "No I just--" A wave a nausea hit me full force. I waited until it passed. "I just need to sleep, un."

For a minute he just sat there, watching me. I tried not to tip him off to any pain or discomfort that I had until...

"Oh, god."

I quickly leaped out of bed, sprinting toward the bathroom. Once I arrived, I promptly kneeled down in front of the gleaming toilet and emptied my stomach. When I finished, I rested my head against my arms, feeling as if I hadn't rested for days. 'I'll just rest my eyes for a minute...'

I was startled out of my small nap when the toilet flushed, and two strong arms lifted me up and out of the bright room. I blearily opened my eyes, and looked up at Tobi's worried face.

"I'm going to make you some soup." He said as he laid me down on the bed, draping the blanket over my shivering body. Soup sounded heavenly at that moment. I nodded and gave him a small, thankful smile before nodding off.

I awoke what seems like two seconds later to a cool hand brushing hair from my face. I opened my eyes, and looked up at Tobi, who had a small smile on his face. "What is it?" I asked. That question seemed to make his smile even bigger.

"You're just... adorable. Even when you're sick, you're still way too cute." I blushed, feeling a small twinge in my stomach, but this one didn't feel unpleasant. I tried to keep a smile off my face and closed my eyes. "I'm still... cute... even when I'm dying, you mean?"

I heard a snort, and felt a kiss land on my forehead. "You're not dying, Dei. I wouldn't let that happen to you." I failed to keep the smile away this time, and pulled at his arm. "Lay next to me." He hesitated. "It'll make me feel better." He finally lay down, pulling the covers over himself, before pulling me toward his body. I nuzzled his chest and quickly drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Later, when the room was dark and no sounds could be heard throughout the house, I realized two things. One, I had slept all day. and Two...

I didn't get any soup.

Hope this adds a little cheerfulness to your day!
