Two Countries Divided

"England and America are two countries divided by a common language" - George Bernard Shaw

"Lady Toni?" Dean forced a smile. "What do your friends call you?"

He was met with an icy stare.

"Lady Toni." She interrupted his response with an imperious gesture. "So, despite the trouble you've caused, I'm here to establish a new knowledge sharing agreement."

Dean gave his brother and Castiel an amused glance and snorted. "Why would we want to team up with the 'Watchers Council'?"

Sam interjected. "I thought you Brits were all about going your own way, these days."

Dean gave an insincere smile. "I think Sam's struggling to see how shooting him was the way to start negotiations."

"So I shot him in the arse; it's just a flesh wound. As you say here: get over it," Lady Toni sighed. "Anyway, can we just look at this bloody contract?"

She penciled in an annotation. "No, that won't do," she muttered. "I'm going to need a rubber."

"What?" Dean squawked, looking to Castiel for support.

"We're all out," said Castiel. "It was your turn to go grocery shopping," he added, oblivious of Dean's mortified expression at the innuendo.

"I'll cross it out," said Lady Toni, mystified.

Barely containing his laughter, Sam decided not to explain the language differences.
