The sky was lit like the colour midnight purple with tiny little bright stars shining the way. The lantern came for its time of year. It was Rapunzel's birthday again. The girl gazed up at the lantern, clenching her fists. She knew Rapunzel was going to turn up on the castle doorsteps one way or another. Her dress came up to her knees as she picked this out specifically so she didn't have to hold her dress up while she ran. She ran down the ramp that went up to the castle; but instead she went down. She ran out the secret getaway escape route, and jumped on one of the royal family's horses. She was allowed this exception; she was the Queen and King's youngest daughter of all. She went far, very far. The horse came exhausted so they stopped by a tree to relax and sleep for the night but she didn't relax for long. She moved her long brown hair out of her face, lying down. She felt something. She knew inside something was not right. She sat back up, and saw a man that looked like he was going through his early adult years – he was going through her bag! She quickly stood up and grabbed her bag violently away from him.
"What on earth do you think you are doing?" she spat out with a snarl on her lip, crossing her arms.
"Uh… would you believe nothing?" the man looked at her subconsciously, shrugging his shoulders. She shook her head slowly for dramatic effect, as the horse kicked his back left leg, making him pass out. She clapped her hands in proudness at the horse, giving him a pat on the head.
"No one messes with us Pegasus." She grinned, smiling. "Remember why we're out here, Pegasus. I cannot stand being in that intolerable home no longer!" she sighed, obviously sick of life in there. A few hours past, and they were fully relaxed. They could continue with their journey. Unfortunately, the man woke up.
"Hey, what the heck am I doing here?" he freaked out, yelling. He was tied with a rope that was in her bag as they did not carry on their adventure just yet.
"Don't you try to steal from me, I can get you. I'm the one and only Princess after all." She pulled a smug smile. He just looked at her weirdly, raising his eyebrow.
"No you're not. There's that princess that got kidnapped." He snickered at her, feeling smart. All she did back was slap him around the face, muttering to herself ignorantly.
"I wasn't stealing from you. I was trying to frame you as the thief of the lost princess crown." He sighed, obviously not impressed with his plan. "It did not work obviously. My plan obviously failed."
"Obviously isn't the word. Shut up about my sister. Go play." She groaned, untying him.
"Whatever, chick. You're a fraud princess." He chuckled, running off to escape from the guards that looked like they were coming.
"Hey you, girl. What are you doing with one of our guard horses?" a guard said seriously, unimpressed.
"I'm the god damn princess!" she yelled towards him. "I'm Princess Niamh." She crossed her arms, getting on top of the horse.
"I apologize, Princess Niamh of Corona." He smiled towards her, saluting her, running to fetch the criminal.
"I'm sick of people. I must be invisible."
