My friends and I was on our way from an interschool event. It was late and there weren't any scheduled trains that time. So we decided to take a bus.
As we took a seat, Sumi and I started to talk about what happened in the event.
That was when I first saw him.
He was wearing his white polo with 3 buttons unbuttoned and his red necktie messy. His hair was a cool shade of raven and a single red earring adorned his left ear. From his looks, you could tell that he was 3 years my senior.
"Mi, look at him! He's so cute" Sumi kept gushing about how cute the guy is, that I couldn't help but ogle at him as well.
"You like him Mi?" Ruka, a senior, asked from the seat behind ours, pointing at the mysterious raven.
"No. I don't Ruka-pyon"
"Whatever you say Mimi." Ruka said, not believing my lie.
After that, the rest of the ride home was silent. I kept sneaking glances at the guy. He has this charm that draws you near him. I zoned out on what Sumi was saying and I focused all my attention on him. I saw him sleeping, counting money, listening music on his iPod and I think I even saw him looking this way. Or maybe it was just my hallucination.
I hoped that time would just stop so I can just stare at him all my life.
He was like those Greek gods our teacher was going on about.
But alas, fate was a cruel bitch. The bus stopped at the bus terminal in North Mall and I saw my Romeo stand up and leave the bus.
'Maybe he lives near here' I thought to myself as my eyes follow his silhouette.
Its weird to think that my heart yearns for that guy whom I don't even know the name.
And that was how I knew that there's such a thing as love at first sight.
