Jennifer blinked awake. It was 6 A.M. in the morning. She groaned. It was Rodney... Again. The ringing of the telephone couldn't be clearer. She sat up and answered the phone. "What is it this time?" she asked in a very annoyed tone. "Should I wear the black tux or the.." Rodney started to ask but Jennifer cut him off. "Rodney, you don't have to wake me up at 6 int eh morning about decisions you should have already made." She said. "The weddings tomorrow and you have to decide what to wear." "oh.. sorry." said Rodney sheepishly. "I shouldn't wake you up so early." "No, you shouldn't." said Jennifer firmly. "Goodnight." said Rodney. "Goodnight." said Jennifer shortly. Then she hung up. "That man." said Jennifer under her breath rolling her eyes and shaking her head.

"Are you sure you want that one?" Asked Rodney looking at the ring. "I would think you would want a bigger diamond." he said " I can buy it for you." he added. "I like small and simple." said Jen. "okay." said Rodney raising his eyebrows. "Excuse me sir," said Rodney to the Jeweler " could I buy the thin ring with the oval diamond?" "of course!" said the man with a toothy grin. Rodney gave the man his credit card. "Here is your ring." said the man, handing him the ring. Then he slid he card and handed him back his card back as well. When Jennifer and Rodney came out of the the store he slid the ring onto Jens finger. "It fits." he said looking up at her. Even though there where about a million people on the street they kissed. After what seemed like an hour they parted and left to their apartments.

Today was the big day, the day they where to be married. Jens best friend Colette was putting her wedding dress on. "Are you excited, nervous?!" exclaimed Colette. "A little of both I guess." Said Jen. "I know I was." Colette commented "When I was going to marry Marco, I was so nervous and excited that my shoes almost fell off!" "I know." sighed Jen "I was there."

The other room:

"Do you think I should do this?" asked Rodney to his sister. "Yes." she responded "you two are great together." she pat him on the back. "Plus," Said John Sheppard "This is probably the only chance to het a woman like her," he smiled. "she's one of a kind." "Don't think that I didn't hear that romantic tone in your voice." said Rodney warningly "get your own girlfriend." "I already have one" said John proudly "Teyla is going to dinner with me tonight." "Really?" asked Rodney "Yep." John said. "How come I never got a bunch of girls to date me?" He frowned "I saved as many people John did." a voice answered his question behind him "because you had a girl already madly in love with you and kept all the other girls away." Rodney turned around. There standing in front of him was his future wife to be in a few minutes. "Hello dear." said Jen "hey beautiful." Rodney said. They smiled at each other. Then without warning she ran to him and kissed him very enthusiastically on the lips. "I love you." she said "I always will." "I love you too." he said "I will love you forever." "Alright!" said John "Enough with the mush!" "Go out there and get married!" "Are you ready?" asked Jennifer challengingly "Absolutely." Rodney said, and they kissed again.

(organ music) Jennifers mind:

Gosh, I am soo nervous... oh! almost there! Okay, now the walk is done just the words!

"Dearly beloved,"

Rodneys mind:

Oh gosh, its happening. I cant believe we got this far. She's going to stay! She does love me!

Jennifers mind:

Rodney looks really, really happy. I think i'm doing the right thing.

"I do." says Jen. Rodney puts the ring on Jennifer's finger.

"Now you may kiss the bride."

Rodney's eyes get as big as plates. They kiss.

The End
