Hello gents and gals. This is my first story and I have no current experience in fan fiction. I will sometimes tweak the League of Legends lore to fit in with my story. I always try to keep my author's notes short and brief. I do not own League of Legends nor Riot Inc. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy my story :D

Amumu P.O.V.

The sun was shining brightly against the gentle, baby blue sky. It was a beautiful summer day, and most yordles were having fun at the sandy beaches of Bandle City. Amumu-being no exception-was laid out on the warm sand, feeling the warmth of the sun's rays caress his face. His mom was tousling his hair, sending waves of relaxation throughout his body. Amumu's father was on life guard duty-always being the selfless one who cares for the others. Amumu couldn't help but smile at his fate. He seemed to have the perfect life with the most perfect parents. He knew how lucky he was to have such wonderful people caring for him.

"Amumu honey, are you in the mood for some ice-cream?" asked his mother with that ever so tender voice of hers.

"You bet!" Amumu exclaimed in the midst of a big grin. He hurried off to the ice-cream shop while his mom stayed to his father company.

"Three, chocolate double-scoops please," craved Amumu. He was bouncing on his heels, a cheerful glint in his eyes.

"Somebody's excited eh? Here you go buddy," chuckled the clerk. Amumu delivered the money as he the ice-cream cones. He skipped back to the beach, careful not to drop anything. When he met up with his parents, they turned towards him and smiled.

"Hey companion. Look, it's been a really slow day so… If you want, we can spend the rest of the day at that favorite hill of yours," his dad offered.

"Really?" squawked Amumu. His dad rarely took days off, especially in the summer.

"Just the three of us will be there, having a nice picnic together. What do you say sport?"

"I'd love to dad!" squeaked Amumu. His parents grinned and hugged him tightly. A few hours later-just as his dad promised- they were enjoying the sunset after a satisfying meal. The sky turned from a light blue to deep shade of orange. Lights danced around the sky, radiating a peaceful aura towards the ground below. The stars were just starting to show, being small specks of silver along the orange-red lining of the heavens. The sun was smoothly setting, letting the moon take over for the night. Amumu couldn't have been happier at the moment. His head rested on his mother's arms, who silently whispered to him, singing a lullaby. He quietly dozed off, confident that a blissful sleep awaited him.

Amumu's shattered open, blinking rapidly. He sat up, taking in his surroundings. He saw a lightly colored room, glowing in the spongy luminosity of dawn. He noticed common furniture accompanied by a TV and radio. He blinked back tears as the sudden wave of comprehension hit him. It was all just a dream. A dream that was too good to be true. It was all too much for him to handle. He broke into sobs, crying and crying until there were no more tears left to shed. Amumu missed his parents so much.
