Hey peeps! Yet another one! And on the same day too! Whoop! Anyway, this one is Heartland fan based. Great show! You should totally watch it!
Based on the song Austin by Blake Shelton. I changed the lyrics to fit the story better. Changed lyrics will be in bottom AN
Title: Austin
Pairing: Ty/Amy
Summary: Ty leaves (again) and moves to Calgary. He works with Scott, but never goes with him on Heartland jobs, so he doesn't see Amy. A year after he left, he decides to call her. Basically their conversation.
He left without leaving a number Said he needed to clear his mind She figured he'd gone back to Calgary "Cause he talked about it all the time It was almost a year before he called her up Three rings and an answering machine is what he got
It had been a year since he'd left Heartland. He'd thought about calling Amy before, but he never did. This time he did though. He picked up the phone and called her number.
If you're calling bout the horse I sold it If this is Tuesday night I'm working If you've got something to sell, you;re wasting you time, I'm not buying If it's anybody else, wait for the tone, you know what to do And P.S. if this is Ty, I still love you The telephone fell to the counter He heard but he couldn't believe What kind of girl would hang on that long What kind of love that must be He waited three days before he tried again He didn't know what he'd say But he heard three rings and then
His cellphone fell to the ground. He couldn't believe it. After everything he'd done, leaving. never calling, she still loved him. He couldn't muster up the courage to try again. So he waited.
If it's friday night, I'm at the Dude Ranch And first thing Saturday if it don;t rain I'm headed out to the lake ANd I'll be gone all weekend long. But I'll call you back when I get home on Sunday afternoon And P.S. if this is Ty, I still love you This time he left his number, but not another word Then he waited by the phone on Sunday evening And this is what she heard
This time he left just his number. Nothing else. He'd knew she phone back. So he waited. And then the phone rang.
If you're calling bout my heart, it's still yours I should've listened to it a little more Then it wouldn't have taken me so long to know where I belong And by the way girl, this is no machine your talion to Can't you tell this is Ty And I still love you
He spilled his heart out to her. When he finished, she was silent for a moment. Finally, she spoke.
"Does this mean you're coming home then?" she asked. He laughed in relief.
"Yes. Oh, God, yes!" he replied
