A/N: Based off the epsiodes: Benson Be Gone, Cool Bikes, and Stick Hockey, but takes place after Benson Be Gone.

Second ever story - WOOT! First Regular Show story, though. =P

Benson thinks about his workers, Mordecai and Rigby. If he hates them so much . . . why doesn't he just fire them?

One-shot. Told in Benson's POV.

Disclaimer: I don't own Regular Show . . . JG Quintel does XP

Enjoy!

As I drove off in the crappy golf-cart, I adjusted the rear-view mirror and saw Mordecai and Rigby throw down the brooms and rakes and run back inside to go slack off some more, even though I told them to get to work. However, I smirked slightly.

As weird as it is thinking it, I actually like having those two around. Sure, they screw up alot of things and never listen to me but it's that kind of rebellion that defines them.

They bring excitement to the park, because it was seriously boring as H around here.

Sure, Muscle Man and Highfive Ghost do their strange crap once in awhile, but Mordecai and Rigby bring the adventures to us, and don't care about what other's think about them.

They live to have fun, even though they're twenty-three years old. That doesn't stop them. Sometimes, I almost feel jealous of their carefree attitudes, that being said, I'm freaking thirty-five years old and I've lived my life . . . in a boring manor. Sure, when I was eighteen to twenty-one, I had the whole drummer and stick hockey things going on, but both took away important things in my life away from me.

Skips and I have had only one conversation about Mordecai and Rigby that didn't include complaining. Admiring, actually. Well, Skips really doesn't admire their behaviors, but that's Skips of course.

He doesn't understand the gates of worry that had kept me away from living an enjoyable life. I'm not depressed or anything, just pretty close, I guess.

Mordecai and Rigby have it good, as oblivious as they are to it. They've got other friends, which I don't. They've got a life outside of work, which I lack greatly.

They'll never understand what it's like to be me, so alone and cut off intentionally from the outside world beyond work. And hopefully, they'll never have to either.

Soooo? My first Regular Show fanfic. Good, Bad, in between?
