It's been a long time since I've updated anything, but RL is pretty demanding right now. (For those of you waiting for an update to "The Woman in the Voice", fear not I'm halfway done with the next chapter.)
So, I have an exam on Friday and because of it I've been eating, breathing and dreaming chemistry for the past couple of weeks. Last night while studying I came across a song that always reminds me of B&B (Sexify My Love by The New Kids on the Block). Before the idea could fade away I decided to write a little oneshot honoring what for so long B&B needed to add to their relationship;)

Booth opened the front door to a quiet house. He carefully slipped out of his shoes to minimize the chance of waking his partner.
The TV was the only light source in the living room and Booth took a moment to lean against the door jamb to better appreciate the sight before him. Brennan and their daughter were sound asleep on the couch.
Probably waiting for me, Booth thought as he left his stuff on a nearby chair.
He picked up the toddler, noting how fast she was growing.
A small sigh escaped as he placed the child in bed and as he pulled the covers over her smaller body the girl turned on her side. Booth kissed her cheek before exiting.
By the time he returned to the living room Brennan was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and turning the muted TV off.
"You didn't have to wait up for me." He'd called to let her know he was going to stay late courtesy of one annoying and endless pile of paperwork.
"We were watching a documentary on wild life." Brennan clarified as she walked towards him. Booth caught her attempt at deflecting and pulled her close when she tried to walk past him.
"I love you." The sparkle in his eyes told her he appreciated the gesture, waiting up for him when he had to stay late at the office. She responded by smiling.
"I left a plate for you in the oven." She offered to reheat it for him.
"Nah." He shook his head, stating he wasn't hungry. "I just wanna grab a quick shower." He bent his head to give her a kiss before letting her go.
"Okay." Brennan nodded, stifling a yawn.
He adjusted the water to a pleasing temperature before getting inside the shower. After sitting for most of his day the hot water splattering his body felt amazing. He indulged in the pleasure for a few minutes before lathering and shampooing.
As he passed the towel across his chest Booth gratefully counted the days left before the weekend.
The bedroom was dark when he entered. Silently he draped his wet towel on one of the posts at the foot of the bed and slipped under the covers naked.
They were facing each other and Brennan instantly scooted closer to him, snaking a hand over his hip to apply a soothing caress on his lower back.
She knew him so well. They complemented each other perfectly and sometimes the simplest touch could ignite the fire of desire in him.
When they were JUST partners he had to keep himself in check, always careful to not slip. But now they were a family and all the restrictions were gone.
"Booth!" The surprised squeal left her lips when his hands began to wander.
"I want…" He growled, devouring her throat with sucking kisses.
"You always want." Brennan accused with that laugh that always melted him. He loved when she did that.
"I don't hear you complaining." He shot back playfully, covering her body with his.
His chuckle joined her throaty laughter while their hands pulled and tugged on her clothing.
Hope this little bit served to alleviate the boredom during this hiatus. A thanks to Caris Bennet for suggesting Booth's comeback at the endXD
