Fix You

Prologue
"The monster! I saw it!" screeched a tom kit I couldn't see. It's so dark…maybe I should go back to the housefolk… "Now, now, it was only a dream." Soothed a female that I figured was the mother of the tom. "No it wasn't! I was awake! It was there!" he fretted. I turned, deciding I shouldn't be here. "I didn't see anything…it was probably just a squirrel or something."
The setting started to stir from the kitten's yowls of fear. "What are you babbling about?" a rough male voice questioned. "Some cats are trying to sleep, if you don't mind. So, if you could, please get that kit to shut up!" the male growled harshly.
I didn't bother to listen to the rest of the conversation; I was walking back to my part of land. "Hey! You! Stop!" I flicked my ear at the sound of a cat calling to me. I walked quicker, not wanting to draw attention. "Stop! You're on ShadowClan territory!" the cat called. "I'm just passing through." I called, then ran to my territory, back to the city.
