Before The Wammy House.
This is a prequel to Death Note. This is my first fan fiction, so enjoy c: I do not own any thing that has to do with Death Note :'( unfortunately, except for this fan fiction, of course.
Just before I start A's story, I'd like to say right now that I'm using Nukia's description for A. Blonde hair, blue eyes, etc. I'm also using the same personality. I just love her perception of A so much. If your wondering who Nukia is, she is another author on this site, she wrote the fanfic called, "Beyond This Love" I must admit it is one of my favorite fanfics on this site. I highly recommend checking it out. Anyways, I just wanted to give her the credit. Again, enjoy, please R and R. I enjoy constructive criticism!
A: When he walked through the door he was greeted by a dozen empty pill bottles. "Not again..." He whispered to himself, his voice dripping with anger. He dropped his bag, and yelled this time, "Mom! Where are you?" No answer...Not that he had expected one. First he checked the living room, no one was there. He checked the bathroom, he was left with the same results. "Where the hell can she be? Maybe the kitchen?... Pfft, like hell she'd be in there." He muttered to himself. Just as he was debating whether or not to go look for her in the rest of the house he heard some awful noises, coughing and sobbing coming from upstairs. Well at least the issue of look for her was gone. He rushed upstairs to see what was wrong, the closer he got the louder the noise became. The noise was come from the bathroom. " Mom! Are you okay?" The sobbing immediately stopped he heard weak foot steps coming towards the door. Someone opened the door, before A, stood a lady whose eyes were red from lack of sleep, and whose once beautiful, silky brown hair was now damaged and an utter mess. she was almost unrecognizable, but A knew exactly who she was. His mother. "Oh, I didn't know you were home, sweety." She said in a soft tender voice, totally conrasting to the the way she looked. "Yeah, I just just got home, but that's not important. Mom... you can't go on like this, why are you doing this to yourself?" He said with tears in his eyes. "Just don't worry about me, where is your father, is he home yet?" The mother said while trying to look over her son's shoulders. "Mom you know where he is. He's gone! He's been gone for 4 years!" His soft voice had escalated into a yelling. "Oh, I must have forgotten, maybe that's why I was crying..." "...Mom" She look into his teary eyes, gave him a weak smile and collapsed.
