I don't even know why I was out here in the beginning. My own fear was blocking that part out of my head. All I can think right now is run. Faster. Faster than...it.
I've never felt so scared and foolish in my entire life. I never should've entered these woods and I never even should've moved to Oregon! I felt something watching me again. Of course it was him. The stalker-type kinda person he was just made me want to shudder. I didn't turn around because if I did, I'd see him. No it. I would see it. My thoughts were too distracting that I didn't even notice a stick in front of me. Of course being my clumsy self, I tripped over it and landed face first into the foggy Earth. Here it is...my death sentence.
I tried to get up and run again but I felt something wrap around my waist, pulling me towards something hard. I couldn't move. The object was wrapped securely around my stomach and didn't even let me adjust to the motion. I inhaled deeply and opened my eyes to be met with the same face-less creature I saw earlier. His suit was neat and tidy. The collared shirt he was wearing under the suit was completely white, almost blinding. Not one stain of blood made it's way on him. I thought too soon. His tie was bloody red. Most likely from all his victims. I cried out in fear and closed my eyes again before having something slowly caress my cheek. It silently stroked it and put a strand of my hair behind my ear. I felt goosebumps rise on my bare arms and my dangling legs. I let more tears stream down. The nonhuman creature wiped away my tears with what felt like boney, long fingers.
I feared opening my eyes again. This creature was treating me so lovingly. It could be a thing he does before he eats his prey though. Actions and looks can be deceived. I dared opening up one eye and slowly popped it open. The creature looked so...handsome?
I seriously don't even know what to think. His cheek bones are so cheek boney. He looked rather handsome. Wait hold up! I did not just call him handsome? Well, I can't take that back. I stared at him in an awkward silence and remembered that he eats children. He eats humans. He'll kill me. He's dangerous. I now cried harder and I felt the creature stiffen. Did I make it uncomfortable. The thing stepped back and placed me down before slowly disappearing. I was still sobbing uncontrollably and had my makeup running but this time by myself. To be honest, I now felt kinda guilty. I made it run away. Is it gone forever?
I probably stayed in the same spot for about 15 minutes before even realizing that I'm free. I'm not dead! He didn't kill nor eat me. Why was that? I started going north feeling eyes on me again. This time, I didn't feel so terribly scared. I, in fact, felt confident. If he didn't kill me than I must be freaking special. I smiled a little to myself but soon regretted it when I saw the thing again right it front of me.
I opened my mouth to scream but felt his soft hand cover my mouth. He was soft with his touch though. I nodded and he let go. I stared at him in sudden confusion. Why did he come back? Dang I ask a lot questions. I looked up to be met with his handsome features. He looked tensed.
Before I knew it he was slumped up against a tree with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked kinda hot in my opinion, even though he had no face.
I looked up at him in awe and he turned his head in my direction. I sheepishly looked away and blushed. I'm being so awkward. I looked down only to see the creature's shoes. I jumped up in shock and heard a small chuckle come from him. I swear I saw something on his face move. I'm guessing he smirked? I don't know he doesn't have a mouth so what am I supposed to think?
Before I could even blink, I was knocked out.
