Thor and Jane were hanging out in the kitchen of the Avenger's tower going over wedding plans when Tony came rushing in with a wide smile on his face. "Their finally finished!" he cried, heading straight towards the couple with two gadgets in his hands.
"What's finished?" asked Jane looking up from the wedding catalog in front of her.
"These" replied Tony holding up one of the devices while putting the other in Thor's hands.
Thor looked down at the device that Tony had just handed him. "It is grand my friend, but what is this new contraption?"
Jane smiled at her fiancée, as she held back her laughter. "Yes, Tony what is it exactly?"
Tony's smile grew bigger, "That my friend is a cell phone, and instead of just a nationwide plan this phone has an Asgardian plan. I've been working on it since my little trip through the portal, working off scans JARVIS had managed to run when I made the trip through the portal. They might need a little fine tuning, but they should work. Just push this button to make a call." Demonstrated Tony as he pushed the button and the phone in Thor's cell phone immediately began to ring to the tune of the Thunder Rolls.
"You mean that I would be able to call Jane with this device when I am on Asgard?" asked Thor joyfully.
Tony had barely enough time to say yes when Thor wrapped him in a huge bear hug, lifting his feet off the ground.
"It is a marvelous gift Tony!" he boomed in Tony's ear.
"That's alright big guy, now I need to breath" choked out Tony as his ribs creaked ominously.
"Let him down Thor so that I can thank him" laughed Jane, eyes smiling. Thor did as he was told and dropped Tony, who started gasping dramatically for air and clutched at his arc reactor.
"Air! Sweet glorious air!"
"Oh, stop" commanded Jane lightly, smacking Tony on the arm.
"Ouch" he whined rubbing the arm, "If you're going to hit me I might as well take my phones back" He made a half-hearted attempt at grabbing them back, but Thor just held them over his head well out of reach of Tony.
"Don't make me get my suit Shakespeare!" threatened Tony as he jumped up trying to reach the phones. But Thor was too tall, and no matter how hard he pulled he couldn't lower the arm that had them.
Thor smirked down at Tony, before throwing a phone to Jane. "Catch me if you can Man of Iron" challenged Thor, as he raced towards the roof.
Tony rolled his eyes heading towards his bar, he knew it would be a waste his time to run after Thor, knowing he would be too late. Seconds later Tony heard the sounds of the portal openings as the Gate Keeper of Asgard opened a portal for Thor. Jane just smiled.
"We really are grateful, Tony and not just this, also for paying for everything for the wedding."
Tony waved his hand as he moved to pour himself a drink. "No need for thanks about that, it's the least I could do, this way I don't have to get you a gift" he said smirking pouring her a drink.
Jane looked at him seriously as she accepted the drink. "You know Tony under all the armor, you're actually a nice guy, you should show this side of yourself more often."
Tony studied his drink before answering. "I only show this side of myself to only a few people-" began Tony when the cell phone began to ring.
"Thanks by the way for the ring tone, The Thunder Rolls is a perfect fit" she said as she reached for the phone answering it. "Hello Thor?"
"Jane dearest, can you hear me?" boomed Thor's voice through the speaker making Jane hold it away from her ear.
"Yes Thor, I can hear you perfectly" replied Jane. She gave Tony a thumbs up before leaving the room as she continued to talk to Thor.
Tony smiled and took a sip of his scotch from his drink before addressing the empty room. "As I was saying, I'm only like this for family."
