Don't own…
Yes, I know that I have said before, I don't like Clara, but she deserves this… Spoilers, so don't read if you haven't seen Face the Raven.
She was brave.
Even though her heart was pounding and her eyes were stinging with tears, she took a last shaking breath and faced the raven.
As soon as it touched her, everything went black. She had a vague sense of screams, but she hoped that they weren't hers. She needed to be brave. The screams were drowned out in a matter of seconds as a horrible pain clawed it's way through her chest, taking everything with it as it forced it's way up her throat and-
Something pulled on her, a gentle hand against hers. There was a sense of familiarity as the pain faded and the blacked turned gray, then white. Against her will, her eyes closed and she was pulled into a huge hug.
It felt like she was suddenly placed in her own body, like her soul filled every crevice- she felt whole again, like she was broken before.
And she felt everything, warmth on her back from a wanning sun, grass tickling her shin, a odd coolness from the person hugging her, tickling from the fabric of his clothes against her cheek…
"Oh, my Impossible Girl…" A voice said quietly, and she suddenly found herself sobbing into his chest.
"Everything's okay now."
