Zelenka closed the door to the Conference Room and took a seat in between Lorne and Sheppard.

He looked around the room nodding to Teyla and Ronon, giving Elizabeth a smile before his gaze settled on Carson.

"Alright Carson." Elizabeth began "Why have you gathered us here?"

"And where's Mckay." Ronon added in his usual rumble.

"Rodney's not coming lad because this meeting is about him. He'd probably kill me for doing this." Carson admitted but look determined.

"Is something wrong with Mckay?" Sheppard asked as the others turned to Carson looking concerned even Lorne looked a little worried.

"Nothing's wrong with him per say...it's what will be wrong." Carson tried to explain.

"Carson why don't you tell us what the problem is." Teyla suggested.

Carson let out a breath "You've gotta stop sneaking up on the poor man."

There was silence as they all looked at each other wondering if Carson was serious.

"Excuse me?" Lorne said.

"Are you...are you serious." Sheppard said trying not to laugh

"He got scared a couple of times so you're telling us off." Ronon said shaking his head.

"I'm very serious lad. Because of the withdrawal his heart is weak at the moment. If you don't stop sneaking up on him, he may very well have a heart attack and die." Carson informed them meeting everyone's gaze to get his point across.

This sobered everyone up pretty damn quickly.

"His heart?." Teyla repeated softly.

Carson nodded."I'm not blamin' anyone here because I know it's in ye nature to be stealthy but the next two weeks I want everyone to give him fair warning that you are entering the room."

So for the next two weeks marines and scientists alike would suddenly start loud arguments with each other or hum to themselves as they neared the labs.

Sheppard had random coughing fits down the hallway clearing his throat loudly before entering the lab and Teyla was singing wherever she went.

Ronon was the last straw "Ronon, Why the hell is your hair jingling?"
