"Hustle Jacobs! Good job Winchester, keep it up!"

Dean watched as the soccer coach yelled from the benches. The stands were buzzing with hype for the championship game and the oldest Winchester knew that even his father was hidden somewhere in them. Minutes left and Sam had the ball, was actually racing down the field and handling the ball well.

"Come on Sammy!" Sam's head tilted for a second to Dean's direction and he nodded just for his brother before aiming a kick, goal easily expected from everyone. An enemy cleat suddenly made contact with Sam's planted leg though, knocking him down and giving him a penalty shot. His leg sore and bloody, Sam shook off is teammates' concerned hands and made his kick, leading the game into overtime where his team had won.

"Good job Sam." John said with a grunt once they were home and Dean was looking at the leg in their bedroom.

"I did good though?"

"You did awesome Sammy. This looks like it's gonna leave a mark though." Dean assured his little brother, who shrugged and grinned.

"As long as I did well."

"You were incredible."

"Thanks Dean."

Notes: Yes, I made John Winchester actually proud of Sam's soccer game. AND be there. This was a stretch, even for me though, I'll tell ya.
