Summary: Sora and Riku on a raft, lost at sea.
Spoilers: Yes, if you havn't played the first... 5 minutes of the first game?
Sora yawned, waking up.
He and his best friend Riku had built a raft and had been floating
at sea for days.
Looking around, Sora suddenly realized he was
all alone. Where had his friend gone?
"Riku!" he
hollared, standing up on the home made float. He could see no sign of
the blue haired boy. his companion was gone.
Over the next few
days, Sora mourned. His friend must have gone swimming and gotten
attacked by sharks or something... Ideas swam through his head. What
was he going to do? They had ran out of food and now, being so upset,
his stomach growled even more than regularly appropriate.
He grew
dizzy, stumbling, his vision blurring. He was going to die. Alone on
a raft, he would ceise to exist. He'd never reach his "New
World."
"No..." His
vision went dark. A voice called out to him.
"Sora... Wake
up!"
He shot awake, only to fall off of the raft.
Riku reached into the water to grab his arm, pulling him back on.
"Sora! Are you okay?!" Riku asked, holding back laughter.
The brown haired boy coughed, nodding, thinking about how soaked his frikin socks were. The water had been FREEZING.
"Hey sora... Look
over there..." The older boy said, pointing to something in the
distance.
Sora looked, blinking water from his eyes.
It was the coast of an island.
