He was a gentleman. He walked as gentlemen walked, he spoke as gentlemen spoke, and he drank his tea with his pinkey out, as most gentlemen did. Or, he would, if he had had any tea.

He was a gentleman in apperiance, but at heart, a joker. Hence the name, 'Mr. Joker." However, his jokes were of a more vicious nature, and were not made for the sake of amusement, but for the sake of self gain.
