It had to be just a dream. It couldn't have been real. At least Regina kept telling herself it wasn't. He had been her everything. He had shown her that it was possible for her to change. He had made her the best she could be. But where were they now...?

It had been at least two hours after the funeral service, yet she was still there. She had given up on the black umbrella she had been carrying. She figured that if anyone had spotted her still there, they would've imagined the water droplets on her cheeks were just rain drops. Plus, she didn't mind the rain. It made her feel like she wasn't the only one crying on that day.

She wouldn't say anything. He wasn't there to hear.. The Olympian crystal had obliterated him. The only thing that was left was the, now cold, soft flesh of the man she dearly loved. She could still taste his warming kiss. The way he held her made her feel like she was at home, but he wasn't there to hold her anymore. It was as if he never even existed.

The memories kept replying over and over inside her head. The first time they had ever met... The first time they ever kissed... It was all gone now...

It was growing colder now, and she found herself snuggling deeper into her coat. Maybe she should say something. If not for his sake, better do it for her own.

"R-Robin.." She started off slowly, for that was all she could get out at the moment.

"I know y-you can't h-hear me right now, but...but t-thank you..." Each word she muttered caused a tear to fall. One by one, the tears started to drip.

"T-Thank you f-...for saving my life..." It was at that point that she lost it. Regina was never the personal type, but she couldn't hold it in any longer. Her bloodshot eyes burst with tears, and she collapsed to her knees. Her quivering arms laid over her chest like an X.

"R-Robin! Please! Come back to me!" She screamed, but she knew he wasn't there to listen.

She slowly dropped her head into her hands. The tears were no longer behind a barricade. They were now smeared all over her cheeks.

"Robin...I-I... I love you... You made me the person I am today, and I will never forget you." The more she thought about it, she cried. He was gone, and he would never hear those words from her.

She cried for the man she loved, but he was gone. She kept hoping and praying that she would feel a hand on her shoulder, and she would turn around, and he would be there, but she knew she would never see him and never would again...
