I think I'll just put it out there. The moment I saw you, I knew that in my entire lifetime I would never love anyone as much as I love you. And from that moment on, every word you spoke, every smile that formed on your lips, every song you poured your heart into made me love you even more. You have my entire heart to yourself, fully and completely, and I fear it'll burst for all the love. And yet you keep pushing me away.

"Just leave me alone," you say. How could I possibly leave you alone? You've captivated me time and time again as I watch you catch the sunset in your hair, and try not to smile at a lame joke, and breathe in the fresh air of a spring morning, and sing your pain into your songs without a care for what anyone else would think. I know you love every single member of this family, even if you pretend not to care. You show it when you think nobody's looking. Luka, you are the most beautiful person I know, inside and out.

If you can come up to me, look me in the eye, and tell me honestly that you would be happier without me in your life, for god's sake, Luka, I would go to any distance to make you happy. No matter what happens to you, I will still love you more than life itself. I want to be by your side, to protect you and help you forever. And - I know you've been hurt before, and you've had a lot of complicated relationships, and the real pain I feel in your songs brings me to tears – but it's not fair that you won't even consider giving me a chance.
