Hi, this is sunsetdreamer10. This is a rewrite of the story I will never forget you.

Annabeth was dreaming. She was in New Rome. Percy was in front of her, calling her to him. Annabeth knew it was a dream, but she walked to him anyway. She watched as a sword plunged through his stomach. Annabeth screamed and ran to him.

"Wise Girl, I will always love you. See you in Elysium," he said.

"No! Don't leave me. Please," she said.

She watched as the light left his eyes. Annabeth screamed again and woke up. Her cabin mates were looking at her in worry.

"Same dream?" asked Malcolm worriedly.

Annabeth nodded. She got out of bed and got ready. She had been having that dream was she saw Percy dying. He had died four months ago as a hero and a savior.

Even though Annabeth's friends were at camp she still felt as lonely as ever. She worked and trained harder than ever. Piper thought she was pushing herself too hard, but she didn't understand. She had never lost her boyfriend. Percy was the only one who understood her. It was painful to think about him. She couldn't be happy without him. Her nightmares were getting worse and Percy wasn't there to comfort her. She still remembered the day he died.

Flashback:

The war was won. Gaea was defeated. Or so they thought. Annabeth had found Percy and their friends except Leo who had sacrificed himself in order to save them. The gods had come.

"Demigods, you have defeated Gaea….," started Zeus.

"Not yet you haven't," said Gaea coming from the ground and taking out a sword.

Before Gaea could do anything, Percy took out Riptide. They fought.

"Perseus Jackson you can still join me. You can have become more powerful than any god," said Gaea.

"I would never betray my friends and I will fight for the gods until I die," Percy had said.

"Then you will die," she said.

Annabeth watched as Percy and Gaea fought. She watched as Percy stabbed Gaea.

"Perseus Jackson you will die if it is the last thing I do," said Gaea.

Gaea threw her sword and Annabeth could only watch as the sword went through Percy's stomach.

"Percy!" Annabeth screamed.

She ran to him as he lay on the ground.

"Someone please," said Annabeth as she looked around at every one. "Please help him."

Everyone looked at her sadly.

"Wise Girl, I will always love you. I will see you in Elysium," said Percy.

"No! Don't leave me," said Annabeth crying.

She watched as the light left his eyes. She started sobbing.

The day of the funeral it was stormy. Percy's shroud was sea green like the color of his eyes. His beautiful eyes that Annabeth would never see again. A golden trident in the middle. Poseidon and all of the gods came to the funeral to pay their respects. Poseiden was crying as was Hestia and Aphrodite. Annabeth thought about Percy. She would miss him so much. He was a part of her. She was startled when Piper touched her shoulder.

"Want to say something?" she asked with tears streaming down her face.

Annabeth nodded and got up." Percy was a loyal friend. He was the best boyfriend anyone girl could wish for. He sacrificed himself for all of us. We should keep his legacy alive."

Annabeth burst into tears and went up to the shroud.

"I will never forget you Seweed Brain and neither will the camp. I love you," she said.

She stepped back from the shroud as it was lit up.

Flashback over

Annabeth walked to the beach. She looked out to the ocean. It was calm. After Percy had died, Leo came back with Calypso. Both had been devastated. Annabeth missed Percy's sea green eyes and his laugh and smile. His smile could make her smile even when she was having a bad day. She could still see his face.

Annabeth started to tell him about her day as she always did. Then she got up to go back to camp. She looked back one time and then turned away.

"I love you Seaweed Brain."
