Love at First Fuse
Diana's four eyes opened at once." Pearl!" she said quickly. "Calm down Onyx we fused and now we are together just stay calm or we'll split." Diana took a deep breath. She was surprisingly tall but so was Pearl and most of her muscular build came from Onyx but wasn't noticed due to his hood. Diana grinned and then smiled " This is amazing!" she seemed childish obviously from Onyx sarcastic nature,but Pearl kept her stable with how serious she was. Diana twirled the giant lance swung the curved white blade. Diana did flips ,stomped ,and even more childish acrobatics. Pearl and Onyx were having a blast yet didn't know what the mixed emotions they were feelings was. They knew they were happy to be fused. This was Onyx was first fusion and this was new and exciting for Pearl.
Steven saw the glow from the statues hand and ran towards it. He couldn't see that well so he decided to us the pad to get up there even though it. could have been dangerous. When he got there he hid behind the washer and peaked. His eyes had stars in them as he whispered " A giant women." he paused for a moment then screamed" Hey, welcome to earth my names..." The fusion finished his sentence. "Steven..." at that moment Steven froze." Do I know you." he asked with a look of confusion. " Well no,but we know you." Diana said as she defused, and Pearl and Onyx were now separate. " Onyx! Pearl! You fused?" both Pearl and Onyx nodded. " But, you looked different, and what about the fusion from before." Steven asked " About that..." Onyx started " I think it has something to do with this." pulling off the glove and pulling up his sleeve. The arm was deformed and black as the rest of his limbs were pale or white. He was able to shape it into sharp and blunt objects and stretch it. " I don't know why Steven, but I am different from other gems. My arm can take over gems so I can use there power as if it is my own." he put the glove back on.
"Unfortunately I can't control myself when I am weak, for example the other day." Pearl stepped in. " But, as long as he can control it he can fuse regularly like us. Do you understand?" Steven had a dumb grin on his face as he thought about it. Eventually he responded " I think so." Onyx looked over at Pearl " That's honestly okay with me, but I know you could explain this for hours so I'll go." Onyx went to the empty house wondering why know one was here. Onyx wasn't one to take advantage so he waited for someone, and he also knew Amethyst and Garnet still were skeptical so he wasn't going to aggravate them further. He laid on the couch being lazy, and just as he shut the door Garnet walked in with a head full of questions. He knew that wasn't good, because she has future vision. So why ask questions? "So, did you figure it out?" she asked. " Yeah, Pearl fused with me without the arm." Onyx answered.
"See I told you to figure it out for yourself." Garnet grinned " Yea, I guess you were right." Onyx said with a spark in his eye. Garnet chuckled and patted his head as if he were a small child. Onyx took the pat how Steven would have. He thought of how Garnet was very mom like when it came to smaller children especially Steven. But, that got Onyx thinking. " Are there more like me?" as he reached up to feel his gem. Then he thought of Pearl and how they fused, and lost interest in his previous thought. He mumbled to himself " That's fine I have Pearl." as a grin formed on his pale face.
