The swing creaked as it went backed and forth slowly. On the swing sat a small girl holding a white stuffed rabbit. Tears were rolling down her rosy cheeks. She cried silently not wanting anyone to notice her. Shes been here for two hours and her father has yet to come and look for her.

The midnight moon shined on the girl as the wind grew stronger. The girl shivered from the winds soft but cold caresses. The only thing she wore was one of many white gowns she wore when she went to sleep. She was about to get up when she felt something warm on her shoulders. The porcelain like girl looked up to find a boy, about twice her age, standing over her. She didn't know wether she should be grateful or scared. The boy had raven black hair, pale skin with the most mesmerizing black eyes. He looked down at her with a blank expression. The little girl looked at him. "Wh- whats yo-your na-name s-s-sir?" the girl asked. The boy burst out laughing. "S-sir? What do I look like? An old man?" he said in between laughs. He cleared his throat and smirked at the little girl with tear streaked cheeks. "I'm only twelve years old. Anyway, whats your name?" The little girl looked at him like he was nuts before answering. "M-my n-name i-is H-Hinata." Sasuke's smirk grew wider. "Oh, what a pretty name you have, but I guess it matches such a pretty face." Hinata eyes grew wide, cheeks glowing a brighter pink. "How old are you Hinata?" he asked. Hinata looked down and held up a small hand and two other fingers. "Oh? So your seven years old?" Hinata kept her head down but nodded.

Sasuke knelt down besides Hinata and asked her why she was alone this late at night. Hinata didn't answer him and started crying. Sasuke put his hand on her head and started patting it slightly. "Come on, don't cry, you'll ruin your pretty face." Hinata clutched her rabbit tighter and stopped crying. "There, that's better. Now then, are you going to tell me why you're here alone?" he asked Hinata. She just nodded, her short blue-black hair bouncing with the movement. "M-my daddy s-said i-i w-was u-useless t-to h-him an-and i-i d-didn't d-deserve t-to be a h-hyuuga. H-he a-also s-said t-that I s-should l-leave an-and n-never c-come b-ba-back, a-and th-that's wha-what I d-did, j-j-just f-for da-daddy. No-now h-he ca-can be happy." Hinata smiled, but that smile couldn't hold back the tears that rolled down her cheeks. Sasuke stared at her speechless wondering if a dad could be that mean, if a dad could hate their kids that much, if he really meant what he said to a five year old. Sasuke put a hand on her cheek startling her from the sudden warmness that his hand brought. He gave her a smile and leaned down kissing where her tears were. "I'm sure your father didn't mean to say those words to you, he probably only did it because he was angry. Hinata, listen, you are not worthless or useless, you are a special little girl, you are my special little girl. Now go home and go to bed I don't want you getting sick." he gave her one last lingering kiss on her cheeks, tasting her tears, got up stuck his hands into his pockets and walking away to the world of darkness.

Hinata sat there looking after him, hoping that maybe one day she would get to see him one more time, just once more. With that thought in her mind she headed of to her house.

The age differences are weird but I heard a song about a girl who confessed to a guy that was older than her and so on. Anyway, I hope you like this, it's meant to be a one-shot but I guess it could also make a good story, it depends on you guys. Please R&R. Oh any criticisms are welcomed, I want to get better at writing.
