Hey guys! Kai back xD Recently I've been super into Voltron: Legendary Defender, and here's a little story I've had going on for awhile. Enjoy!

The paladins were just about to head out to the planet where they going to perform yet another show to promote the coalition, when they heard Lance's shrill shriek from his bedroom.

Naturally, they all ran towards the former blue paladin's room, and Maeve quickly placed a hand on the sensor, automatically opening it.

"Lance what's wrong?!" Hunk shouted after spotting his best friend's back turned towards them. Shiro had his arm powered up, Pidge had her bayard, and the others were poised for an intruder.

Lance turned towards them, and had the biggest tears running down his face, lips pouty and eyes reflecting despair.

"I HAVE A PIMPLE!" He all but shrieked, louder than ever.

"What." Pidge deadpanned, while Allura sighed and Shiro powered down his arm.

"What do you mean 'what'?!" Lance shouted again. He pointed accusingly at the enemy on his face. "This is a crisis, a disaster! I can't go on stage like this!"

Hunk seemed to cry in relief, Allura letting out another sigh, and Pidge's expression read, 'how did I end up with this bunch'

Maeve looked at Shiro, who just shrugged. Their leader walked towards Lance, trying to sympathize with the Latino.

"It's not that bad." Shiro said, but it just made the boy's eyes water more.

"Whyyyy did this only happen to meeeeee" Lance wailed, crying onto Shiro's shoulder. Shiro desperately looked over his shoulder, sending a plea to the other paladins. Pidge chose that moment to walk out, Allura sheepishly grinned, then gestured what Shiro deciphered to be 'got-to-get-ready-i-know-you-can-do-this' before following Pidge. Hunk moved to help, but Maeve (who had walked out the room unnoticed after Lance announced his crisis) whispered something that made the yellow paladin nod, and reluctantly leave the room – probably to get ready as well.

Maeve gently coaxed Lance to face her, saying that she had something to fix this. She had a white bag in the hand not holding Lance, and once she got Lance to face her (wiping away the last of his sniffles), Maeve made eye contact with Shiro, not need to verbally say that she got this.

Shiro saw the determination, and thanked the heavens above for sending him an angel.

Maeve watched as Shiro walked out the door, before turning to Lance and saying,

"I've got concealer."

Lance immediately stopped crying, looking at Maeve. His eyes were filled with hope.

"And it should be your shade, I mean we're not that far apart in the skin line." Maeve decided to add.

"H-how," Lance said, breaking the silence. Maeve grinned.

"I found it in one of the backpacks I brought here. You lucky boy." She laughed, then pulled out a small tube from the white bag she was holding. She grabbed some wipes from the dresser to his left, and told him to clean up his face. He hurriedly did so, and Maeve gently worked her magic. She swiped the doe foot applicator over his face, blended it with light pats, and placed powder over it.

"Done." She said, and gave him a hand mirror.

Lance nearly teared up again. There was still texture, but from afar his face once again looked flawless.

"You are a lifesaver Isra." He said as they walked down the hall to meet up with the other paladins.

Maeve shrugged, not missing the brotherly affection behind his saying. Only Lance called her by her middle name, said something about it sounding elegant and etcetera. It was something only he did, and it saved her from going insane more than once.

She lightly bumped into him. "Anytime." She said, and meant it.

Then Maeve sprinted down the halls, calling out a challenge to Lance.

He didn't disappoint.

And there you go! Other paladin stories will come up eventually :)
