The Coming Of Afro Circus

By Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus

Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus: I absolutely loved Madagascar 3, and I enjoy the franchise in general. So it boggles myself on the account that it took this long to properly write a fanfic for it. Oh well, enjoy it, ladies and gentlemen!

The Central Park Zoo was always home to those animals that loved entertaining the people. Alex The Lion, Marty The Zebra, Gloria The Hippo, Melman The Giraffe, and of course, those four certain penguins. One particular night, however, is where things got interesting.

And in case you're wondering, it was not the night that started their adventure to Madagascar.

"You know, I always wondered what it was to be like in the circus." Marty thought as he loomed over the wall dividing his pen from Alex's. "I mean, yeah, living in the zoo is fun and all, but what about the circus?"

Alex rolled his eyes as he jumped down from the top of his platform, going over to the wall to face Marty. "The circus? No offense, Marty, but they're not exactly the type of animals I would want to be."

"What do you mean?" Marty gasped in shock as he stared directly into Alex's face. "You would fit in perfectly with the way you entertain everyone!" He then twirled around as he posed. "Me? I would die to be a circus horse!"

Alex scoffed as he narrowed his eyes, shaking his head. "And what talent you would have, Marty?"

"Well..." Marty cleared his throat as he then stood on his two hind legs, dancing about. "Dadadadada, circus, dadadada, afro circus, afro circus, afro!" He then jumped around as he moved his front legs about in motion. "Polka dot, polka dot, polka dot, afro!" He posed as he smiled brightly.

Alex stared at him oddly as he narrowed his eyes. "...Really? That's all you got?"

"Hey, who said I can't improve?" Marty replied back as he pointed at Alex with his right hoof. "Remember how long it took you to perfect your routine?"

Alex sighed as he shrugged, nodding his head as he opened his eyes. "Well, you have a good point when you put it like that."

"Exactly!" Marty exclaimed as he tossed his front legs in the air. "So if you don't mind, I'm going to improvise!" He then continued dancing and singing as he tried to think of a routine that would work.

Alex chuckled as he shook his head, heading underneath the rock and snoozing. "Oh Marty, you're truly one of a kind..."
