Of Vampires and Boys Part ONE
Claire Edwards sighed. She was so bored! She didn't have any homework for the weekend and KC was out with his parents,visiting his grandmother,Alli was grounded,and Connor---well,she and Connor hadn't talked for a few weeks now since she danced with KC at the school's dance. Her cool,blue eyes landed on a black book on the bookshelf she and her sister Darcy,who was in Kenya for the semester. shared. It was a book that she had often seen her sister reading,one that she herself had always scoffed at. But--she was bored so what would it hurt if she read just a little of it? She stood up and walked over to the bookshelf and grabbed the book,running a hand down the paper back cover slowly.
"Twilight." She muttered the title of the book slowly and walked over to her bed,laying down and opening up the book to the first page and beginning to read.

On Monday morning,Claire walked into the Media Immersion classroom and took her seat beside KC. She sat Twilight down beside her chair and then sat still.
KC eyed the book with a raised eyebrow. 'Wasn't that book the one that movie,Twilight was based off of? The one with the vampire and the human falling for one another?' He wondered. "Hey." He stated quickly,grinning crookedly at his friend.
Claire smiled back and turned to her computer screen as the class finally began. She tried to keep her mind on class,but it kept going back to the Twilight novel. Without thinking she went on to an Edward/Bella website and began typing,forgetting all about the assignment Simpson assigned.

At lunch,instead of eating Claire sat at her usual table and pulled out the book to continue reading. When KC,Alli,and Connor(who took the seat farthest from her or KC) sat down she didn't even look up.
Alli's eyebrows knitted together and she frowned at KC in question,the skaterboy just shrugged a shoulder. The dark haired girl sighed softly,shook her silken tresses over her shoulder and said,"Claire? Earth to Claire??"
The girl in question's head shot up in surprise. "H-hi!"
"Are you okay Claire?" KC asked studying her features.
"Why wouldn't I be Edward?" She asked dreamily,forgetting where she was.
Alli,Connor,and KC all looked at her in shock and horror. Had their friend became an obsessive fan girl?
