Dustin walked into Storm Chargers with an older man just behind him. "Oh hey guys, perfect timing! Meet my dad, Jake." He said with a wide grin on his face.

Jake grinned at everyone and held a hand out to shake, which the male rangers did happily. A chorus of 'hello's and 'hi's sounded in response as Dustin and Jake went towards the motocross gloves. "Dustin, where's your sister? She's not doing that girly thing is she?" Jake asked with a disapproving frown on his face.

Dustin blinked in confusion, scratching the back of his head. "Uh, Dad…..she is a girl...there's a lot of girly things…" He replied, pointing out the obvious.

Jake rolled his eyes and gave an even bigger frown. "Dancing Big-D….is she still dancing?" He said with the smallest hints of aggravation in his voice.

The others looked at each other in surprise. Tara's dad didn't want her to dance? But she said he had no preference

A blur passed by everyone and out popped the shorter brunette with a grin on her face, oil streaks along her face and all over her hands. "Hi Daddy!" She called happily, standing in front of him and beside her brother, who stood a head taller than her.

He smiled at her and opened his arms for a hug. "Princess! How's my babygirl?!" He cried happily, taking her into a bone crushing hug.

She was picked off the floor by the force of the hug and spun around slightly before being placed lightly back on the ground. She gripped the rag tighter in her hands for a moment, focusing on that to keep her balance. "Just finishing up Dustin's tuning actually. I was about ready to work on Blake's bike." She said cooly, pointing at the navy clad buddy behind her.

Hunter made a sound of disapproval and was then elbowed in the gut by his brother, a bigger smile on his face as the hazel-eyed girl completely skipped over the crimson ranger's bike on purpose. She glanced over at the two and gave a small wink in response, purposefully getting on the tall blond's nerves. He gave a fake glare and sighed to himself, shaking his head. That girl would be the death of him.

"And here's the entertainment room!" Dustin shouted happily, stepping into said room and twirling around happily.

Jake nodded in surprise. "Wow, it's nice in here. You keep it this clean Dustin?" He asked with a small laugh, the son giving a pout.

The two stepped into the hallway of Dustin and Tara's home, the father completely overlooking her tidy room and spotting her small mess of recently used products sitting around her bathroom sink. "I see Tara is still as bad as ever with her messes…." He sighed with a small shake of his head.

Dustin frowned and scratched the side of his head. "Actually….her room is scarily tidy….I've actually asked her to clean my room to be like hers. But she can't because of the jobs-" "Your sister doesn't clean your room for you? Talk to her about it Man! Why can't she do it?" Jake snapped slightly, turning to the girl stepping out of the kitchen with a washrag in hand; headphones were in her ears and she was cleaning dishes while completely ignoring the two males watching her.

Dustin sighed and shook his head. "Dad….she works two jobs and cleans the rest of the house on her down time….Not to mention helps me on the track. I can take care of my own bedroom." He whined.

Jake narrowed his eyes at the girl stepping back into the kitchen.

Tara's eyes widened at seeing her father in front of her, dance uniform held in his hands while he glared at her. "You wanna explain this to me young lady? WHY aren't you helping your brother with moto? WHY are you dancing when you should be working? I knew we shouldn't have let you leave!" He shouted at her.

Tara looked at the floor and clenched her eyes shut, biting her lip almost to the point of drawing blood. "You just don't get it do you Daddy? I've ALWAYS looked after Dustin! He's come first compared to my needs! I have two jobs to keep this house nice and clean for him! I help keep his bike maintained! I feed him! I even help him at work! I've always helped him, even when we were kids! I grew up with no friends JUST to make sure I was always there for him! I was bullied at school because of moto and being such a tomboy!" She cried, "why can't you just let me be me with dance?!" She screeched before snatching the clothes out of his hands and storming passed him and out her front door.

Jake swiveled around to watch her leave. "Wait! Get back here! We're not through with this conversation!" He called after her, grinding his teeth in frustration when the young woman ignored him.

Dustin, Hunter and Blake all stared at Jake as he seethed in Storm Chargers. "She's always been like this! I don't understand! We adopted her and she's ignoring what we want for her!" He shouted as the four stepped into the back room.

Dustin frowned as Blake and Hunter exchanged looks. "Sir, with all do respect she's 20….and from what I've seen Dancing is the only thing she does you don't approve of. She keeps the house clean, she helps Dustin every chance she gets in more ways than one, she tunes bikes and manages this store, and she helps us all on the track by racing, she's practically factory pro. Why is dancing so bad?" Blake asked with a frown.

Jake groaned and rubbed his hands over his face. "I didn't raise her to do that girly dancing thing…" He replied, "ever since I can remember she's always hidden it from me...yet no matter what I did to her she still continued to dance. I just wanted a daughter dedicated to motocross." He sighed.

Hunter frowned and scratched his head. "Have you even seen her dance?" He simply responded, looking towards the father curiously.
