Hello everyone! To those of you that have read my other work, you're probably thinkin that I should be updating "In Love With Platinum." I'm workin on it and hopefully I'll have it up by the end of Sep. Now this poem was actually an English assignment for school and I was all thinkin, "I want to post this up on fanfiction!" Yeah, I just felt like posting something up since I haven't updated lately. I based this poem off of Vampire Game cause I just love it so much. This is Ishtar's day and how she feels about Darres. I know it will be OC and she will sound a little more "smart", but hey, remember that it was for English class. Well I hope ya'll enjoy the poem! (I'm not really good at writing poems.) Just Another Ordinary Day
Everyday I wake up to the shimmering
Ribbons of the Sun's ineffective rays.
Plastering on my flawless mask, my
Crowned father won't notice my falsehood
Yes, it is just another ordinary day.
I sit with my mask working like magic, as
The royal dinosaurs discuss fossilized print.
Their monotone speech singing me towards
My slumber. How can this not bore a youngster?
Yes, it is just another ordinary day.
Then I escape from Siren's melody, knowing
That you will be there my guardian,
Each day your smile disintegrates my mask.
You melt my glacial heart revealing my inner core.
Yes, it is just another ordinary day.
Since the dawn of time my lifestyle has
Been a clone everyday. Your presence has altered
That and myself as well. Throughout the day, I
Fantasize about your strength, wisdom, and courage.
Yes, it is just another ordinary day.
At last, my dream finally becomes a reality! Our bond grows
Ever larger as the sun dial's shadow nears the night.
I gaze up at the twinkling stars, reminded of your
Best trait: kindness. And thus the Sandman sprinkles the sand.
Oh how I love these ordinary days.
