Draco knew that his son would be in Ravenclaw. He knew from the moment Scorpius spoke his first word, "intelligence." Draco was shocked to hear his son speak the big word, and made him repeat it. Little Scorpius said it again with ease. "Astoria! Guess what our son just said," Draco called, carrying Scorpius into the kitchen where Astoria-with the help of Bobble the House-Elf- was making dinner. "He said something? Oh, what did he say!" Astoria exclaimed, wiping her hands off and taking her son from her husband. "Gosh, I can't believe I missed his first word!" she mumbled.

Draco smirked. "He said, intelligence," he said smugly. "Intelligence?" Astoria asked, confused. She looked at her little son and he said, "In-tell-a-cents," cutely. A large smile broke out on Astoria's face as she hugged her son close against her. "Intelligence," she mumbled. "Why couldn't it have been Mummy?" she said with a laugh. Scorpius looked at her and said, "Ass-story-a."

Draco burst out laughing while Astoria tried to convince her son not to call her that. She shot a stern look at her husband and set Scorpius down. "Scorp, go play with one of the House-Elves," Astoria said firmly. The little boy toddled out of the kitchen to find a house elf to play with, and Astoria turned to face Draco. "Do not encourage that!" she yelled at her husband. Draco fought back a smirk and said, "Okay, fine."

Two years later, Draco's suspicions of Scorpius getting into Ravenclaw were confirmed farther when he beat his mother at wizard chess. And again a few months later, when he cursed his grandfather Lucius' hair a bright sea foam green color. All at the age of 5. Draco knew his son would be a great wizard, despite his last name.

A/N: Hey guys! I know I said I would post Ron's reaction to Scorpius asking him for his blessing to marry Rose next, but I was working on that and this idea bunny popped into my head. It was annoying me to no end, so I went ahead and wrote it down, and it's actually not that bad. Well at least I don't think it is. What do you think?

Reviews make me stop getting distracted from writing Ron's reaction! (Or they distract me further :P Let's just say they don't distract me!)
