A Lost Brother
The time is around midnight in the Mushroom Kingdom. All the people are asleep except for a small group of people sitting inside of an old Olive Garden. If you were to look at them you would notice that they seem unusually somber and gloomy. Especially the tall, skinny one wearing a bright green cap that has a large green L inside of a white circle. In his hands is a cap similar to his except it is a vibrant red with an M instead of an L. This man's name is Luigi, and the reason he and his friends are downtrodden is because a man has just died. This man's name is Mario who was the older brother and role model of Luigi. He died from a heart attack caused by stress. He died almost a week ago but his family and friends did not find out until this morning. They were all devastated, Luigi especially, when they found out.
Right now they are preparing for the funeral which will be tomorrow. The funeral service will be tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the garden in front of the castle. Luigi's friends are currently trying to get him to talk because he has not said a word since they found out Mario was dead. They have been trying in vain for the past six hours, but he refuses to say anything instead he just stares at Mario's favorite hat remembering all the adventures they had together. Eventually they give up and go to help each other get past the grief and sadness.
Eventually Luigi stands up and walks to the door. Everyone in the room gets quiet instantly because this is the first thing he has done today. They all looked at him expecting him to say something to make them happy, but instead he just keeps walking out the door. His friends wondered if they should go after him, but they decide that he has just gone of to find some way to cope with the sadness. Luigi meanwhile was just wandering the streets thinking about his dead brother and wondering why something like this would happen. Eventually he decides it was for the better because this way Mario doesn't have to deal with the anxiety he faces everyday. With this in mind Luigi decides to go and prepare for the funeral and to help his friends to accept the loss that they have suffered.
