Michleangalo and his big bbros were out on patrol. There were one talk of Krang activity. So naturally the four turtles had to stop it.
"Why are they even out in winter anyway!?" Questioned Raph. They got to the T.C.R.I and formed a plan. "OK Donnie, and Raph, Try to get to the weapon. Me and Mikey will hold them off." explained Leo. But in the middle of the fight, Donnie yells, "Its not sapoused to do that! RUN!"
A explosion came , Leo,and Don't, all ran as fast as they could. Now Mikey hadn't heard his purple clauded Brother. So he couldn't get out in time.
He flew and hit the ground. That is when the explosion had hit. His head hit the concrete. Then everything went black for him. The last thing he saw was his brothers coming twords him.
Raph knew something was wrong when he heard a hi pitch scream from behind him. He truned back only to see his youngest brother fall to the ground.
"Mikey!" yelled Raph. Alerting his bros of what happened Raph ran to the uncouncius Michelangelo. "Wake up Bro!" He pleaded. They got him back to the lair A.S.A.P.
When they go there Don addressed the small turtles injuries. He was left alone to work. 3 hours later Donnie came out of his lab. He looked shocked.
" Donatello, how is Michelangelo?" asked Master Splinter. Don shook his head. "He is gonna be fine sensi. But he won't be the same." explained the smart turtle. "When he waskes up Mike wont be able to hear us. Or anything else. The explosion dameged his hearing. Forever."
Raph stared at his brother. Had Donnie just said Mikey was deaf!? He started twords the lab. Raph wanted to be the person to stay with him.
Mikeys POV.
I wake up to see a bright light in my face. The last thing I remember was a major Krang explosion! I slowly sit up. I see Raph sitting by my cot.
Confused I look around. I see I'm in the lab. But unlike the usual noises you'd hear from here, everything is silent. Do walks in and sees me up. His eyes light up! His lips start moving but no sound comes out.
Frowning I stare at him. He must see my confusion because he stops and gets a pad of paper. I see a pen in his right hand. He writes something on the pad for me.
After he's done writing he hands me the pad. 'Mikey I'm glad to see your up! You have been out for 2 days. The reason you can't hear anything is because the explosion in T.C.R.I. made you deaf. I'm sorry Mikey.'
I stare at that word. Deaf. I was now deaf. Don puts a hand on my sholder. He shakes Raph awake. He must of yelled in surprise. That is because he shot up like a rocket.
He starts talking to me but soon realizes I can't hear him. Instead he hugs me. Ilove it when he let's his soft side out. And right now I need all the comfort I can get!
I grab the note pad. 'Were are Leo and Master Splinter?' I write. Donnie sites that he will go get them. They come in with smiles on there faces.
Splinter grabs note pad. He wrote ' My son! I am glad you've are awake.' I smile at this.I nod. Donnie was telling the others something. He then writes it down.
He said I'm gonna haveto learn sign language.
Nobodys POV.
The orange turtle sighed. It had been a week after the was teaching everyone how to sign. Even Raphael. Though Raph never left Mikes side.
April had been told of what had happened. She bought books for the turtles to help them threw this. Even though he was deaf now, Mikey still tried to be his normal self.
So that ment extra annoying for Raph. Mike cooked as well. Though he wasn't aloud to go on patrol. He often complained about being bored.
His brothers tried to remember to write what they were saying to Mikey. Master Splinter watched as his sons helped the youngest get threw his knew problem. He smiled. Yes everything was going to be fine.
