Dedication: To the people who make me smile. You know who you are.
She never thought he would be gone. And if she did-well, she never did, it was unfathomable. He promised. And she knew she should have known better. She has had broken promises before. So why did she trust him this time? Why did she trust him to hold her heart?
Because she was in love. And love blinds you from seeing what reality truly is.
She walked forward; not knowing what was ahead of her. She didn't know the risks or dangers she was going through.
She just walked. And walked. Still leading. Still breathing. Still loving.
She missed him. Although she never showed it anymore. She never showed anything anymore.
She needed him. However, she didn't see any need to be dependent on anyone anymore. She was independent and confident.
She walked faster. She doesn't want to think anymore.
She wanted to fall. Fall into the sky, and have no time pass. Then she would fall, and fall, waiting for his arms to come around her.
But they never would. He left her. Left every promise. Left her heart in blinding darkness.
She'd fall and fall. And dream and dream-if she could. She can't dream about that perfect life anymore. She can't free fall without having a care in the world.
She needed him. She missed him. But she couldn't love him. And every day she would lie to herself saying that she was over him. That she was not in love with him. But that was lie. And she knew it.
So she kept lying. Kept leading. Kept breathing. And loving.
Walk, Max. Keep walking and never look back.
And she did. She kept walking, walking a thousand miles, a thousand miles without him, but for him.
A/N: Btw, "him" is Fang. Dumb, stupid, incredibly good-looking Fang. From the song 1,000 Miles by Vanessa Carlton..her songs are wonderful. Midterms..midterms...midterms.. smile and laugh forever :)
good luck with life.
