Sophie and Katie sat in the dark room huddled around the glow coming from the computer. It was like any night. Watching YouTubers that retired from their job a while ago. Listening to PewDiePie scream and Cry read was soothing. Watching Dan and Phil for the laughs and Smosh for the simple things. It was something they really connected over. They were currently watching Best Sisters Play when the doorbell rang. They both got up to answer the door. They had not expected anyone so they went together to be safe. England was full of crazy people.
Katie reached for the doorknob and looked at her friend before opening it. They were both shocked. Cats. Everywhere. "Katie did you buy all these cats? I know how you are with cats…" Sophie said looking at the fluffy little things that seemed to just stare.
"Sophie. This is all wrong. Watch" Katie sat on her knees and pulled a cat into her lap. She made high pitched noises and put her hands in the air and the cat did the same.
"Oh my God!" Sophie squealed. "That is so cute!" Katie shook her head.
"Sophie, this is from a famous YouTube video. We are IN the internet!" Katie got the cat off her and went outside and saw NyanCat traveling through the sky.
" Maybe this isn't so bad. We could live in the internet world." Sophie said looking around. Katie just pointed. Sophie turned her head and saw Slenderman staring at them. Her eyes widened and she ran inside with Katie following. They closed the door and leans against it. "This is bad!" Sophie yelled. Katie just nodded and went to the computer.
"Look," she said. "The real world is on the other side. We are stuck." She closed the laptop and sighed. "I know what happened to the YouTubers."
" So they didn't retire from video making?"
"No. The internet took them just like us. Now its our job to save them."
"How would we find them?"
"Simple. Well Pewdie and Cry are most likely going to be in a horror game so we can get them last. Dan and Phil are in internet London and the others could be in their natural settings.." It actually made sense. The all did kind of disappear at once. It was now the two best friends job to save the Popular YouTubers from the internet. Who would've thought?
Katie smiled. "We're not in the real world anymore." Her and her movie jokes lightened the mood. She make Sophie smile.
"Adventure awaits!" Quoting Cry, Sophie rand back out of the house with Katie in tow.
