The smell of freshly made potato soup floated through the air as if carried by a soft breeze. Sadly for Judai he couldn't smell it though his stuffy nose. He had come down with a terrible cold and was stuck in bed despite his claims to be fine. Luckily he had Johan there to make sure he stayed in bed to rest.
"Judai the soup's done." Johan announced putting the tray of soup on the bed side table. He gently shook his sick boy friend's shoulder to wake him saying "Come on you won't get better if you don't eat."
"Hnnn five more minutes" Judai mumbled rolling onto his side.
"The soup will cold if you wait too long" he chuckled pulling the other into a sitting position and propping him up with pillows.
"You know you really don't have to do this. I can take care of myself." he yawned as Johan put the tray on his lap.
"I don't think so. I left you alone yesterday. I don't want to come home to you asleep on the floor and canned soup about to boil over and explode on the stove." He snapped and scooped up a bit of the soup onto a spoon. "Now are you going to eat or do I have to feed you?"
Taking the spoon in his trembling hand Judai be gain to eat the soup. "It's good." He admitted softly.
Once Judai had finished off the soup he placed the tray on the bedside table ad asked "So do I get to kiss the cook or do I have to wait until I'm not sick?"
"I'll let you do a lot more than that to me, but you have to get well first" He teased and winked at his bedridden boyfriend. Judai laughed until he started coughing after hearing how forward Johan had been "I'll hold you to that"
"By the way you never did tell me how you got sick." he pondered aloud. Getting comfy underneath the covers Judai yawned "You know how it was raining a few days ago?"
"Yeah? What about it?" Johan asked sitting on the edge of their bed.
"Well there was this little kid looking for his missing card" he said coughing a few times as he spoke. "He didn't have an umbrella so I gave him mine and told him to stay there while I looked."
"Did you find it?" Johan asked leaning forward to check the other's temperature.
"Of course I did" He yawned feeling fatigue catching up to him. "But it took about an hour to find it and get it away from this stupid bird that took it to it's nest."
"I guess that makes you a hero then" Johan chuckled seeing how Judai was about ready to fall asleep on the spot. "Now how about you get some rest Mr. Hero"
"Ok" mumbled the bedridden duelist before letting his eyes shut. Kissing his seeping boyfriend's forehead Johan left the room and whispered "Get well soon."
