Authors Notes: This is for all of you that enjoyed me "The Old Songs" fanfic. I had this alternate ending
in mind before I wrote "The Old Songs" but finally decided to get it down on paper and submit it. Enjoy!
Lee and Amanda walked through the upstairs door to the hall outside Q Bureau
"Will they give Tony some therapy or something before they try him?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah, they will, " Lee replied. "Krutiov really messed up his mind." Lee opened the door to Q bureau and
Amanda walked in ahead of him. "Amanda," Lee said in a hesitant manor.
Amanda turned around and looked at Lee, who was still holding in the doorway.
"Yeah?" she asked.
Lee closed the door and stood up straight, but he was not really sure what to do with his hands. He was a
little nervous. "You know," Lee continued, "you and I do have a lot to talk about."
"Yeah?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah" Lee said. "We have been getting to know each other for what - three years? And I think there is a lot
about you I don't know and I'm sure going to enjoy trying to find out."
Lee walked over to his desk and put a tape in a tape player. "Amanda, I want to sing something for you. Now I am
not a very good singer, but this song says everything I have wanted to say to you a long time. Is that ok?" Lee asked.
"Sure," Amanda replied.
Lee pressed play and a piano solo began
After a few bars Lee began to sing:

Lee walked over to Amanda and she put her hands on his lapel. She was really moved and had never wanted to
kiss Lee more since things had started to move forward in their relationship. She tilted her head and Lee
came in for a kiss. Their lips met.
