There are 87 places on your body that I love to kiss. I made a list once while I was bored in English class. And now that I can kiss you in public I can't stop kissing every one of those spots. Not all the time, of course. Maybe half are okay to kiss in public. I'll just have to make sure to kiss those other spots when we're alone.
I love kissing your temple. You always smile so shyly when I do that, like you're surprised for some reason. I think you're still not used to someone treating you with such care.
Sometimes when we lay together with my arms wrapped around you, I kiss the crown of your head because it's there and I always get a good whiff of how good you smell.
I love kissing your neck right below your ear and the spot in the crook of your shoulder. And on the back of your neck where those little wisps of dark hair are. And the hollow of your throat. God, there are a dozen places just on your neck.
I love kissing your eye lids, is that weird? I don't think it is.
And I love kissing your chin when you cry because it quivers but then always stops right after I kiss it.
And I absolutely love kissing every inch of your face. Your face was made for kissing.
I love kissing your hands and the tips of your fingers.
And I love kissing the inside of your wrist and all the way up your arm.
I love kissing your ankles, and your knees, your elbows, your eyebrows, the small of your back.
Your lips are a given but if I had to pick a favorite spot, could I even choose the obvious? I think that would be a hard question for me.
Then there are your breasts, your stomach, the inside of your thighs, and the juncture between them.
Every time we make love, I always try to kiss as much of you as I can. And when my lips can't kiss those places I make sure my hands can.
Did you know about that spot behind your knees? When I tickle there with my fingers I swear the noise that comes out of your mouth is the sweetest thing I've ever heard.
Lately, I've found that kissing the place right over your heart just might be my favorite. Because you had to go through so much to get to where you are right now, offering it to me with a shy smile and the nervous play of your hands. I hope that every time I kiss there you know that what I'm trying to say is thank you, and I'll protect it as fiercely as I know you'll protect mine.
Would it be alright if I kissed you now?
