Wake Up Daddy
Cassie was enjoying a lazy Saturday her husband Andros was asleep as well as her four year old son Andrew James. As Cassie sat at the kitchen table in her apartment reading the morning paper and enjoying her morning cup of coffee in the peace and quiet. But she knew that quiet doesn't last long in the house not by a long shot. Thinking about her son he was the perfect mixture of her and Andros he had Andros's hair color and style; as well as her eye color which is black unfortunately he inherited his father telekinesis abilities much to her dismay as well as her husband. Cassie was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't hear the pitter patter of feet coming from one of the rooms in the apartment.
The two pairs of little feet made it to the end of the hall. Andrew cautiously open the door as quietly as he could so he didn't awake the sleeping occupant in the bed. Andrew knew he could just simply jump on his dad's chest and yell at him to wake up. But young Andrew had something different in mind and it involved four water balloons and a little telekinesis power. Standing at the door he turned on his telekinesis and had the four water balloons float until they were above his intended target. Turning off his telekinesis Andrew watched as the water balloons fell on top of his father Andros.
"Uh" was all Andros said as he sputtered water out of his mouth. But out of the corner of his eye he caught a certain patch of hair the same color as his own. "Andrew!" Andros shouted this caused Cassie to put down her coffee carefully and ran to hers and Andros bedroom. As she got to the bedroom door Cassie was surprised to see Andros's top part of his body was all wet. She could tell that by the red t-shirt Andros slept in it was clinging to his frame and it was soaked through and through. "Andros what happened to you" Cassie asked her husband. Breathing in a deep breath and letting it out Andros turned to face his wife Cassie.
Who by now had a concerned look on her face placing his hands on both sides of her shoulders and said "Someone decided to use his telekinesis and drop four water balloons onto dear old dad." Shocked by this Cassie immediately marched a couple doors down to Andrew's bedroom with Andros close behind her. Opening the door with hands on her hips "Andrew James how many times have I told you not to use your telekinesis powers in the house much less use it on your father now I want you to apologize this instance." Andros came into the room and Andrew got off his bed and made his way over to Andros wrapping his little arms around Andros legs and said in a tiny little voice "Sorry Daddy I really am," his eyes shining with hopefulness and forgiveness. Smiling Andros ruffled his son's hair and said "I forgive you." Andros then crouched down to his son's level and whispered in his ear "Maybe you can get mommy the next time ok." Andrew's smile widened and he shook his head wildly. Cassie was glad that Andrew apologized to his father; but she had no idea what her two men were conspiring about she just hoped it wasn't too bad.
