For You, I'd Die a Hundred Times

Kazuki Muto's eyes fluttered open. Everything was a blur around him. The colors looked like blurry splatters of paint everywhere. He blinked once, then twice. Gradually, the vision of his surroundings grew clearer, and so did the smiling face in front of him.

He realized that it was Tokiko Tsumura. His head was gently placed on her lap, the rest of his body on the soft grass. He tried to sit up, but his tendons, ligaments and muscles tore all over. "Ouch!" he muttered.

Tokiko firmly gripped his shoulders, making some of his muscles scream, and pushed him back down. "Kazuki, you just got brought back from death," she smiled, "again. So please don't strain your self."

She touched his cheek lightly, her fingertips feeling icy and gentle against his skin at the same time. "Kazuki, how many times must you die for me? I think I've lost count."

Kazuki looked up at her to meet her sparkling eyes. "Tokiko-san," he smiled weakly, "for you, I'd die a hundred times."

Tokiko felt a rush of heat go up her face making her cheeks redden. She helped Kazuki sit up this time, and he turned to her, their faces separated by an inch. "Then," she spoke as they slowly leaned in, "I'll always be there for you to revive you.. even for a hundred times."

They're lips met, and Kazuki was glad he was alive again.

The End

**I seriously didn't expect them to kiss in the series. From the beginning, their feelings for each other were strongly hinted, but I still didn't want to expect. I have watched a couple of shounens, and sometimes you get disappointed, because in the end the two you're rooting for doesn't end up together. I was so shocked that they kissed; I hugged my pillow so tightly and giggled. FINALLY!
