Naruto GX
NA: just so you all know this is my first real attempt at a fanfiction. I have for some odd reason been on a Yugioh fix here lately and somehow that tied into Naruto as well. Now I know that the profile says that I have a story up already and that it is not complete but that story is my brothers not mine. It is not complete nor will it ever be complete as he has passed. For those of you that have read the story thank you and I hope you enjoyed it. Those of you who have not read the story that like Naruto stories I'd recommend it even though it isn't complete.
Now this story is a cross over between Naruto and Yugioh obviously and yes Naruto's deck will seem over powered in the beginning but I promise you it evens out later on I swear. Most of the cards I have thought of for Naruto alone seem overpowered even to me, but I have also been working on some ideas to power up the other characters decks as well. Not to mention that I have also tried my damndest to familiarize myself with each and every deck used as well as make sure most of Naruto's cards are balanced. I warn you now I have probably failed in some cases but one of them and most of the traps and spells use effects that are already in the game itself if not in the show.
Now with that warm and cheery welcome and to those of you still reading this (if anyone actually does read these, as I know I sometimes just skip them) welcome to Naruto GX.
Chapter 1: Welcome to Duel Monsters
It had been a long and drawn out battle between the forces of good and evil. Madara Uchiha had held the upper hand through it all. Yet one boy, no one man refused to stand aside and let his world be destroyed by some lunatic with a stick that was ten times the size of Sasuke's shoved so far up his ass it was coming literally out of his body to make more of him.
This man was Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, the host of the nine tailed fox spirit Kyubi, but Naruto just called him Kurama. Punch for punch, kick for kick, and jutsu for jutsu all were seen and responded to by this young blond. Never once giving up in his fight to protect the ones that he loved and cared for.
Standing there in his ruined red and black sleeveless cloak he had gained from his masters, ripped pants and torn to shreds shirt the boy knew he was beaten. Alas here he stood standing against all odds friends and family littered around him breathing no more as he tried with all his might to find a way to make their sacrifice not be in vain.
'It's the only way,' thought Naruto as he scanned the destruction that had befallen this once beautiful land. 'I cannot believe it has all came down to my last resort. How did everything fall so far?'
The wind blew as the man thought his final thoughts as he prepared himself for one last attempt to save those few that were left. Those few still at home worrying for the ones that would never come back. The wind blew as Naruto raised his arms in preparation for his final stand against this unstoppable force. The one move the grand lord toad elders taught him with the warning to never use unless no other option was available and even then only after he had tried even harder.
The wind blew as Naruto called upon the ancient power of the shadows to do the one thing they were meant to do. Contain and destroy anything and everything that entered its grasp. Throughout the years many had entered the realm of the shadows never had anything escaped. At least nothing that could be called human anymore.
As Madara raised his blade high into the air and sped toward Naruto to kill the would be hero he yelled at the top of his might as his hands made the one seal his master had sworn him never to use.
'Even now I fail you Sensei for I must call on the darkest beings to defeat and protect and for that I am sorry to have failed you,' thought the bloody and beaten blond as he used his last ounce of strength to activate his very last jutsu.
"NINPO: WORLD COLAPSING JUTSU!" yelled the tired sage as he thrust open his arms to tear a rip into what is thought to be time and space creating a black hole. As one the bodies that littered the ground were sucked into the darkness as the expanse started to grow and grow.
Naruto stood there as time all but stood still in his eyes as everything stopped moving and just stayed were it was. In that exact moment even with all the death and destruction wrought upon the world. The last sage to be trained on the great mountain by the elder toads knew peace.
Then, as if a switch had been thrown, everything was dark.
Darkness, as far as the eye could see there was only darkness. Naruto looked and looked but nothing was there except the shadows. Floating he waited for his time to die to come, to be with his loved ones once more in the afterlife.
"Not today Kit," spoke a voice Naruto could not help but recognize.
"Kurama?" asked the blond as a great nine tailed fox looked down upon him. Together they stood there in the darkness no longer alone.
"Yes, Kit it is I," whispered the great demon, "It has always been me. Since the very beginning, I made your life hell. I was the cause of your problems, the villager's hatred of you. I was the cause of your poor training at the academy, and the reason you had such problems later on when you finally got the training you deserved. I was the cause of all of your loneliness and sadness. How am I repaid for the pain I have caused you? You befriend me and try and be as polite and friendly to me even when it was unneeded. Even when you had all my power and all my cooperation by force you still took the time to try and befriend me when even I treated you like scum beneath my claw. It has always been me."
"Hey fuzzbutt will you quit pulling a Sasuke and stop being so depressing all the time. We won, yeah were dead, but we still won," laughed the blond even though as he said it he wanted nothing more than to curl up and cry knowing that he had failed those precious to him.
"Even now when I know your heart, Naruto, you still try and make me see the light at the end of the tunnel," whispered the fox with a sad smirk and a shake of his head. "You have done this world a service no one else can claim. For ages they will talk about the great Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze and cherish you as the savior of this world."
"What can I say I'm just that amazing," Laughed the blond as a single tear started down his face.
"No Naruto this world will not know just how truly amazing of a man you really are," stated the fox to the blonds confusion. "They will cherish your name as I have said, yet in time it will be forgotten as all great things are. Someone one day will speak your name and no one will ever know who the person is talking about. Alas that is your fate here."
Naruto could do nothing but just stand there in the darkness with his last friend as tears streamed down his face. Then with a chuckle the sage looked up and met the wise old foxes stare.
"So what, at least they'll be alive," stated the man to the surprise of the great demon. "If I had become a ninja to be praised throughout the ages or to become some god in people's eyes the id have never gotten as far as I have. I did this because it was my duty, not as a shinobi but as a human. I alone had the power to do something about that teme and I couldn't just stand by and let it happen. So what if I die, so what if I'm forgotten in the end its better to have people there to have them forget you than to have no one remember that you did nothing when you could have. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I hadn't done this so I guess what I'm saying is I'm ready to die. The real question those is, was Madara?" Exclaimed the ninja as he chuckled at the end.
Kurama just stood there for a long moment staring at his friend. One who had just shocked a thousand year old beast that had thought he had seen everything the human race had to offer. Yet there before him stood something he had never seen before. Sure he had seen humans die for one another and gladly do so, yet somehow this was different. Somehow this boy of barely 18 had defied the odds and did the impossible.
He had earned the full respect of the nine tailed fox Kurama, something that hadn't happened since the sage of the six paths split him from the ten tails.
"No!" yelled the great beast to Naruto's fright. "I will not let this be the end you stubborn son of a bitch. Who was it that painted the Hokage Monument in broad daylight and lived to tell the tail?"
"Well me of course but I mean come on that's not really all that hard-"started the blond before the beast over rode him.
"Who was it that beat a Chunin before he was even a Genin when all thought it to be impossible?" Bellowed the fox.
"Well me but that was just dumb luck," tried the blond to the anger of the fox.
"Who trained day in and day out just to be looked down upon and belittled by everyone yet still managed to be the so called prodigy of the Hyuga Clan? Then went on not even two hours later to fight and defeat the one tails?"Yelled the fox.
"I did but you know as well as I did that you helped!" yelled back the blond now getting curious as to where this was truly going.
"Who defended the Village Hidden in the Leaves when even their best could not do so? Who beat Pain and his six paths as well as change him to be such a better person that he revived everyone he had killed all because someone talked to him and helped him find a better way?" The great fox all but ordered Naruto to answer.
"Kami, I did but again I had help, had the toads not trained me and had I not used your chakra I probably would have been too tired to honestly beat him in the end." Yelled the blond now thoroughly pissed off that the fox refused to see it from his point of view.
"Lastly, who is now being a stuck up stubborn little shit who can't take a compliment when a wise and powerful nine tailed demon is trying to bestow one on him!" Shouted the beast in anger finally loosing the last bit of calmness that he possessed.
"Wait…I don't have nine tails," laughed the human in spite of everything.
Silence.
"ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME KILL YOU, KAMI I SWEAR TO ALL THAT IS HOLY I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T SHUT THE HELL UP AND LISTEN YOU OVER GROWN NAKED RAT!" The Kyubi yelled as he let go of all his pent up rage.
For ten full minutes, or at least it felt that way to Naruto as he really couldn't tell how much time had passed, the fox stood there breathing heavy.
'Wait, if he's immortal and supposed to be this all powerful being why does he need to breath?' thought the man as he had forgotten the link between their minds.
"I am doing so to show you how annoyed I am Kami damn it," stated the fox as he calmed down while staring down a now sheepish Naruto.
For the most part all Naruto could do was chuckle and rub the back of his head for his, for lack of a better term, brain fart.
"Anyway, before I was so rudely interrupted," continued the fox as Naruto had the decency to blush and be embarrassed. "I refuse to let this be the end, not for the great Kyuubi of the nine tails, or his Kit!"
"Really Fuzz butt the 'great Kyuubi of the nine tails' and all I get is Kit?" The blond chuckled as he thought about it, "Well you wouldn't be you otherwise I guess."
"So true you are Naruto," Laughed the fox, "Back to business though. I refuse to allow it; we have been through too much shit to let this be the end. So I have one question for you."
"No I am not scratching your belly again the last time you seemed to take way to much pleasure in it." Stated the blond matter of factly.
"…Anyway my question is…what would you say if I told you I could give us both another shot?" asked the fox ignoring the comment the blond made, really one twitch of the foot and instantly it had to mean something sexual or some shit.
"What the hell are you talking about fox? We are in the realm of shadows, you know shit goes in nothing comes out, that realm of shadows." Stated the blond like he was stating the sky was blue.
"Really and how do you know that?" asked the fox with a grin.
"Because nothings ever came back duh did you hit your head or something?" asked the confused blond.
"You are correct we can't go back to where we came from," stated the fox sagely. "No one ever said though that you can't move forward."
With that the blond finally knew what it felt like to be Gai when Kakashi threw him for a loop.
"Ok you have my curiosity now spill what in the nine hells are you talking about?" stated the blond confused as Sakura in a Big bust bra store.
"It is quite simple really," stated the fox as if he were a teacher speaking to a student. "The space time continuum works like this. If the polar flux of…blah…blah…particle acceleration of the mass divided by the blah…breaks through the ninth wall…while milking a cow you would thus do what I'm proposing we do"
Silence.
"Now let's try that again and dumb it down to the ninetieth degree okay?" asked the blond as he stared at the fox like he had grown several heads and not just one.
With a sigh the fox did just that, "Basically in a nut shell, if I flood you with all of my chakra and you focus it into a direction like a propeller you could rocket yourself into a new time frame. But I will say this I will revert to my most basic of all forms and I don't even remember what that was to be honest. I haven't seen nor used that form since I was born so I couldn't tell you what it would do to you. To be honest I'm not even sure this will work but if it does id venture to guess that your body will revert even if just a little because of the chakra in your system it would be greatly decreased. So if my math is correct you would probably revert back about 3 years of time."
"Hold up a minute how good is your math?" asked the blond as he began to like this plan.
"I have a degree in Mathematics at the Sunagakura College of Mathematics." Stated the fox in complete certainty.
"Really?" asked the naive little man.
"No of course fucking not, wow are you dumb if this works pick up a book why don't ya," stated the fox as he started to store energy up to transfer to his friend.
"Ok so if we do this when where and how will we do it?" asked the man as the fox just gave one of his foxy grins.
"Right now, right here and like I told you…don't blow up." Laughed the fox as he transferred every last ounce of energy he had to the blond as he was forced back into the seal on his friends abdomen laughing all the way as he did so.
Naruto felt the surge of power enter him and couldn't help but be overwhelmed. While he had felt the Kyuubi merge his power with him before this was all new to him and so unexpected he felt like he was going to burst.
Keeping his head calm though for the first time in his life Naruto remembered his friend's instructions and pointed his hands behind him and released the power he had been given in a great geyser as wave upon wave of chakra shot from his palms.
Faster and faster he went not knowing which way was up which way was down or if he was truly moving at all. Just as Naruto thought that the plan had failed though…
Whack
"KAMI DAMMIT!" yelled the blond as he held his head after connecting with something hard.
"Kid watch where the hell you're going you could have broken your damn neck. Get the fuck out of here you're not supposed to even be here this is private property of the Pegasus digging crew. Get out before I call the police!" Yelled a voice as Naruto opened his eyes to then immediately close them once more as light, glorious light rained down unto his poor light deprived eyes.
Slowly this time Naruto opened his eyes to see he was no longer in the middle of a war zone or a dark expanse in the recesses of wherever the hell he was, but in a desert not too much unlike Suna. Miles and miles of desolated sandy land lay before him as people in strange clothing and for lack of a better term, doo dads were walking around.
"Didn't you hear me kid get the fuck out of-holy shit what in the blue hell happened to you?" exclaimed a man, Naruto guessed the same man that had yelled at him before.
"DOCTORS! DOCTORS! COME QUICK THIS LAD NEEDS HELP!" yelled the man as he kneeled down beside the blond trying his best to stop the bleeding where he could. Not understanding what was going on Naruto looked to where the man's hands were to see that all over his body were still the wounds inflicted in the battle against Madara…all 5 feet of his body.
"The fuck! What happened to my body?" yelled Naruto as the man before him wondered the same thing for completely different reasons.
Quickly three men in white came to the group of people now surrounding the mysterious boy as everyone wanted to see what the commotion was about.
"DEAR RA!" shouted one of the obvious medic ninja as they came upon Naruto. "You two get that boy on the stretcher ill start work on patching him up. Kid you're in for one hell of a painful ride we're about a mile from the nearest hospital."
As one the medic ninja started to load Naruto onto a stretcher as the one that had spoken to him started to pull out bandages and other medic stuff from his backpack.
"Med-pouch would have been easier to carry," stated Naruto who, though he felt a little dizzy felt for the most part fine there was barely any pain anyway so really he didn't see the point but he had learned long ago medic ninja could get scary if you didn't let them do their job.
"Med-Pouch? You mean what the old timers used back in the old wars? Kid what are you on?" questioned the doctor as they hurried to some type of weird ugly summons.
"The fuck kind of summons is this? Toads are so much easier to get to where you're going," stated the blond ignoring the doctor's questions and curious looks.
"Oooookkkkkaaaayyyyy so we definatly need a drug test when we get there." Stated the head nin as they got into the ugly beast. Naruto felt bad for it as he saw the ninjas insert weird metal kunai into it to make it move. "Ok kid, I don't know what you're on but a little morphine can't hurt you so just relax."
With that the medic ninja inserted a needle into Naruto's arm and injected him with the painkiller. Then all Naruto knew was darkness once more.
Mindscape
"Kyubi, where are you, you damn fox. I think something fucked up." Yelled the blond as he traversed through the sewer that was his mind.
"Over here Kit…don't you dare fucking laugh." Stated the fox in anger.
There before him was the great nine tailed beast, the most deadly of the nine bijuu. Able to destroy villages and cause utter chaos…and he was the size of a rabbit.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh Kami fuck yes. There is a god in this world and she is fucking amazing!" shouted the hysterical blond as he looked upon the deadpan look of the Kyubi, as somewhere in the heavens a being looked down and grinned.
"Shut up you naked overgrown rat. I told you this would happen so stop laughing Kami damn it!" Shouted the chibi fox in his most demanding and powerful voice he possessed…it came out like a kittens meow.
Thus starting Naruto's reaction all over again.
"Kit seriously shut up we have a problem!" Yelled the fox.
This quieted the man turned boy down quickly. "You're telling me, Where the hell are we Kurama?" asked the blond.
"Were not in Konoha anymore, midget I can tell you that. I've sent out what little chakra I have been able to pull out of the atmosphere through you, that's why you felt so dizzy. From what I can tell other than maybe a Genin here or there I can't feel a single ninja around this place for miles upon miles." Stated the fox to the shock of his companion.
"What the hell does that mean…wait then who the hell is taking care of my body if not medic ninja?" asked the boy now fearful for his well being.
"Calm yourself Kit I analyzed the drug the injected you with. It is little more than a pain medicine to stop you from feeling your wounds. It is perfectly harmless and will be out of your body in a few hours. Honestly it's a god send right now because it is keeping your body still so I can focus on pulling nature chakra into your body while we speak," explained the fox glad that something was going right at the moment.
"Ok so there is that but that don't tell us much other than they don't want to hurt us right now but what about later? Who are these people and where are we?" inquired the blond as the fox stopped and concentrated for a moment.
Once he opened his eyes he explained, "From what I can gather while using your ears to listen to the outside world, were in a place called Egypt. Wherever the bloody hell that is. You have a mild concussion probably from hitting your head when you came through the timeline. You also seem to have a few broken bones but I'm already working on that but it is going to be slow for now."
"Ok so how long do we have till a. this drug wares off and b. you're done healing me?" asked the sage wondering if he could make a break for it when he came to.
"Not soon enough for what your planning I'm afraid," stated the fox as he kept listening in. "Oh and congratulations they found no other drugs in your system so they just think you are crazy."
"Great just great any other good news?" asked the boy now thoroughly pissed that he made the choice.
"Maybe," stated the fox as he started to feel everything around them once more as he listened in. "Ok so good news bad news time. I feel someone with kage level Chakra out there and saying he wants to talk to you alone when you wake up which apparently will be soon by what they are saying."
"The bad news?" questioned the blond as he started to think that his luck had come through for him.
"I think, and this is me guessing here, but I think it is a cross dressing pedophile the likes Orochimaru would be jealous of." The fox stated in all seriousness.
"WHAT! I don't want to be raped by" started the blond before he was forced out of his mind and back into his body as the drug wore off.
"A cross dressing Pedophile!" finished the blond as he came to and face to face with said cross dresser.
"Well that was rude Naruto-boy." Stated the man as he just smirked at the now fearful blond.
"Wait how the hell do you know my name and who in the nine hells are you?" blurted the scared blond.
"That will be explained in due time my boy but alas we don't have too much time to waist here because in about 10 minutes doctors are going to come in here and look you over again and see that dear Kurama-boy has already healed you." Stated the white haired…thing in front of him as Naruto just stared wondering what was going to happen to him.
"Well if it makes you feel any better though I will say this to start I mean you no harm and I am here to help you as I have been waiting quite some time to do actually. To be honest I expected you a couple years ago sadly my tournament is long over with now so there isn't any hope of getting you into it now but alas the world works in mysterious ways." The man sort of explained as Naruto's confusion just grew deeper and deeper.
"Ok I got that you meant me no harm and that you have been waiting for me," stated the blond as he started to piece the small information he had gained together as he had been trained to do by Kakashi-sensei. "That still doesn't tell me who you are and for that matter how you know me in any way or Kurama either. Nor why I should trust you anyway so why don't we start there?"
Naruto mentally patted himself on the back for his self control of being able to hold the question that he truly wanted to ask that had been scaring him since his arrival.
"No, Naruto boy there isn't a ramen stand anywhere nearby but I promise we can get you some after our little adventure here is over." Laughed the white haired man to the shock of Naruto.
"But alas time is short and we must make due haste you can trust me because I give you my word on the souls of my family long past from this world that I will do no harm to you and I shall try and answer all of your questions honestly and as quickly as time allows. I know of you and Kurama because I was once and to a small degree still am connected to the realm of shadows or as we call it the shadow realm but that's not important right now. What is important is that we get you and your tenant away from here as quickly as humanly possible so that no harm can come to not only you two but myself included." Stated the man.
"What do you mean?" inquired the blond right at the moment that an alarm started ringing throughout the hospital.
"Oh dear it seems we spent a bit more time chatting than I had initially thought we would. Just goes to show you that even I could not see everything back then," the man stated sadly as two men burst into the room holding what could only be classified as a weird metallic weapon of some sort pointed directly at the white haired man.
"Come quietly and no one gets hurt old man,' stated one of the men in typical bad guy fashion.
"Oh dear looks like this is the time frame where I must rely on you my boy, forgive me as I did not wish to burden you so." Said the weirdly dressed man with a sad shake of his head.
"You promise on your own soul and life you'll answer my questions and not try to harm me or stop me from ever leaving if I so choose?" asked Naruto as he started to relax his muscles to spring into action.
"Even if I hadn't already gave an oath before I would still say yes my dear Naruto-boy now please can you do something these men seem to mean business," swore the man as he looked toward the bed to find it empty. Shocked he searched the room quickly finding his young companion on top of one of their would be assailants ready to punch the man's lights out, having already dispatched his partner.
"Hu, my restriction seals never got put back on after my fight…oops." Laughed the blond as he stood up from his work and inspected the men for a pulse, happy when he found one on each. "What do you want to do with them…um I never did catch your name"
With a chuckle and a shake of his head the man stood. "Leave them here my men outside will take care of them and find out what they were after and who hired them. Oh and sorry for my lack of manners I am the creator of duel monsters and CEO of Industrial Illusions, my name is Maxemillion Pegasus."
With that both of the awake occupants of the room left the hired men on the floor and walked out into the light of day together.

AN: so please let me know what you all think I think I made it go a little fast but honestly I didn't want to spend too much time in the shadow realm or in the Naruto universe and this seemed like the best way to do so. Also if you haven't figured it out Naruto will have powers in this story but he won't use them every single second of every single day only on rare occasions.
Now about Pegasus a few things. 1. He isn't always gonna be this nice fun loving guy only when he's around Naruto Yugi Kaiba and one other person is he going to be completely relaxed. 2. The millennium eye is gone and I've changed it a little to where he doesn't just see into the mind but can catch glimpses of the future and even in some cases see multiple outcomes hence how he knew Naruto was coming but didn't exactly know when just that he would appear near him, also explained later.
Finally, while yes Yugi and Kaiba and the gang will be in this story they wont feature to heavily in this story until much later as this will be mostly a GX fanfic with a splash of thought up shit and a dash of old school in there no there will be no bull shit where Naruto duels on a bike or has a spirit that wants him to collect cards to help him get his memory back sorry but both of those versions I seriously hate with a burning fashion. In fact there will probably be a bit of crap bashing here as well as some Jaden Syrus and Chazz bashing but that'll die out with time as ty get less retarded and more 'holy cow a brain what do you know I have one'. Now there is one character I truly hate with all my guts in this series and that is Chumley because quite frankly he is a useless character, and really does nothing for the plot so in this story Chumley is dead retired never born I don't know I don't care.
But to make up for this or that later on in the series if I think that it needs it I have already compiled deck ideas for three new characters to come in but that won't be till later and they will appear and show their shit before I make a poll to see if ya'll want them to stay who you want to stay if you do and then and only then will I add them if the yays win out.
