Author's note + I'm new here and this is my first story here. Be nice and leave a review, ok?
Flames will be read with detached amusement and promptly berated by myself and my entourage of pink teddy bears.
Constructive criticism would be a great help and immensely appreciated
This is one shot story but it might evolve in to a two part based on the reviews and results I get.
SO, review people!! You guys will make my day if you do…
The Rainiest Day
They decided to have their wedding on the rainiest day in the rainiest week of the rainiest month of the year.
Yuzu questioned their sanity.
Karin couldn't care less. As far as she was concerned, getting married is getting married. Who gave a fuck if it was raining or not?
Isshin was quiet for a bit, gazing distractedly into the air above Ichigo's head and when asked for his opinion, promptly executed a near perfect spinning kick, heel aimed straight at his son's head while screaming something incomprehensible. Near perfect because Ichigo caught his father's leg with one hand and, utilizing his father's own momentum, proceeded to flip the old man straight into a wall without even blinking.
Isshin was no longer considered an active part in the discussion.
Ichigo silently thanked his father for understanding his wishes.
Byakuya sat impassively through out the father-son confrontation and turned his gaze towards his adopted sister and wordlessly prayed to what ever deity available to quickly intervene because he couldn't even comprehend the thought of losing his beautiful, beloved sister to this uncouth, immoral and utterly stupid orange haired monkey.
The lack of a celestial lightning bolt striking the stupid boy made Byakuya sigh and turn his gaze back to his sister.
He had been going through this cycle ten times now.
Rukia smiled as she saw her brother look at her again. Completely oblivious to the increasingly desperate inner turmoil that he was going through.
Yuzu took a deep breath and asked why on earth and the next would they want a wedding on the rainiest day of the rainiest week in the rainiest month of the year?
Ichigo took Rukia's small hand in his own large one and stared deep into her eyes.
"We wanted a new beginning," he said, shrugging his wide shoulders. "We both hate the rain."
Rukia smiled back at Ichigo, her eyes shining.
"Now, we want everything to change," she said.
Yuzu sighed and massaged her temples. Finally she smiled and consented.
Though she STILL questioned their sanity.
It was decided. They would have their wedding on the rainiest day in the rainiest week of the rainiest month of the year.
Ichigo and Rukia couldn't be happier.
So, whaddaya think? Did you get it? I hope so…blame it on boredom and a rainy day…
Personally, I like the Byakuya part….this kind of inner turmoil is just like what I imagine the stone faced captain would go through…playing with Byakuya is fun.
So, leave a review! My entourage of pink teddy bears and I would really appreciate it.
