Living by the thread of life
I watch it go by so fast
I sit and reflect on the things I've done
But nothing ever makes sense

My eyes were covered with the shield of darkness

Back in the age when I was new
I knew not such a light could shine through
Who could of guessed that the light would touch me
Then I knew…
Oh yes, I knew…He was there


Now I live life day to day
Keeping in mind that every second is a blessing
My heart is filled with all kinds of joy
All because…I know He is there
