This is my first ever fan-fic so if you don't like it please tell me and give me some tips

Temprance Brennan was sitting at her desk, doing paperwork as usual, when her partner Seely Booth walked in.

"Hey bones" Booth said

"Hi"

Booth looked surprised "hi? All I get is a hi?"

"Sorry Booth, I'm busy" replied Brennan in a cranky leave me alone type of voice, Booth was wondering if she knew how pretty she looked when she was like that.

"My goodness bones, do you ever take a break?"

"Yes but this was a very important case with lots of paperwork!"

"Why don't we go grab a drink?" Booth asked hopingly

"Not tonight, I'm not even close to being finished!"

Brennan was just about to write something down when Agent Booth reached out his muscular arm and place his hand on her paper.

"This can wait till tomorrow Bones"

"Are you driving?" Brennan asked as a smile grew across Booth's face.

"Of course!" replied Booth as they both walked out of her office.

They had been at the bar for at least an hour when Brennan turned to Booth

"I'm bored!"

"My god bones, you do pounds of paper work a day and you call this boring?" Booth commented as he took a sip of her drink.

"Well…" Brennan trailed off about how she was more adapted to her work environment rather than a bar. When she finally shut up Booth asked

"So do you have that book I want to borrow?"

"Uh…..yeah, it's in my apartment and I have some paper work I need you to go over before I turn it in" Brennan said as she was randomly scanning the crowd.

Brennan put down her drink and sighed, Booth turned to her

"Ready to go?" he asked

"Yeah I'm getting tired, let's go"

They arrived at Brennan's apartment within 15 minutes.

"Want to come up and get that book and the paper work?" Brennan asked

"Yeah" Booth was so happy because not only was he with his best partner ever, he was with the love of his life, but he swore that she would never find out his true feelings towards her!

"Alright, here's the book and here's the pa…..oh shit!" Brennan cursed as she dropped at least 5 papers.

Booth and Brennan both knelt down to pick up the loose papers, when they both reached for the same paper their hands met. They both looked up. Their faces where so close together that their lips almost touched.

"I better go" said Booth before he even had the chance to cross the partner/romance boundary. He picked up the rest of the papers. "Sorry" he said then left

"Stupid, stupid, stupid" Brennan said to herself as she started towards her bedroom. Right before she walked into her bedroom her front door popped open and booth walked in!

"Ya know what, I'm not sorry!" before Brennan could speak Booth grabbed her at the back of the neck and pulled her in for a nice smooth embracing kiss. It took a minute for Brennan to realize she wasn't dreaming, and then she finally welcomed his lips with hers.

When they finally broke apart Brennan said "I'm glad I left my door unlocked!"

Booth chuckled "Me too Bones, me too!"

Booth laughed inside and thought to himself

NEVER? YEAH RIGHT

As he pulled her in for another kiss.
