Chapter 1: Goodbye
Authors note: Ok people this is my very first fanfiction and I'm a bit nervous…. Some of you might know me from my reviews I give. Reading all the fanfictions I've read inspired me to write this fanfiction. Last but not least please review and comment on whether or not I should continue. Oh and I don't own any of the characters or the anime Inuyasha but I do own Hanzo and kirien.
"Listen here, girl it is not safe in the woods at night. Demons and other creatures are lurking in the dark as we speak!" shouted the girls' father.
"Dad I know but I have to go and get the herbs to make the medicine, mother needs it!" Kirien exclaimed her face full of tears.
"No I as your father forbid you to go!" exclaimed Hanzo his face red with anger.
"Fine!" kirien shouted tears streaming down her face as she ran up to her room.
Kirien's mother was terrible ill and the herbs she needed were the key ingredient's to the medicine but the problem was that the herbs only grew in the Western part of Japan, while she lived in the in the deep southeastern part of Japan. So it would take a few weeks to get there. I know I can take care of the demons by my self and succeed in getting the herb. I am pretty skilled with a few weapons , but I know my knowledge in actual fights are …. Limited. The only experience… I've had is with I'm fighting with… all the local females …..Hm. Kirien thought as she drifted off to sleep.
When I opened my eyes and looked out me window it was still about midnight. If I am quiet enough then I can sneak out… As quietly as I could I quickly got dressed and place a extra pair of clothes in my pack. I slowly opened my door and stuck my head out making sure the coast was clear then I crept down stairs into the kitchens and grabbed two loaves of bread along with a chunk of cheese and meat and carefully wrapped the food and placed it in my bag and continued to make my way out the house. As I stepped out the house I looked back and whispered "Goodbye father."
