The First Nobody

Summary: Rumours of their demise was greatly exaggerated. Vexen and Zexion survived through illusions. Now alone without Organisation 13 watching over them, the two dare to tread further in to nothingness. The origin, and resting place of all.

Nothing is eternal.
The most common interpretation of this is that all things decay, they only have a certain period of time before they go.
A typical example of this is human life, or any life in general. No matter how many precautions are taken, people will still die.
However we, no, I am considered 'nothing'. A nobody, the last surviving member of Organisation 13 and Xemnas' flawed plan to acquire Kingdom Hearts for himself in a foolhardy attempt to restore our hearts. I believe Zexion did his own bit of research on this matter himself and yet he told no-one the results, fear of an uprising perhaps. What does this statement mean for me then?
Am I eternal?
Obviously not, other nobodies have perished at the hands of the key blade wielder. But there must be an underlying nothingness, something that all matter and energy returns to. A zero state, a void.
The Void.
A Void the world that never was was built on. Ugh who's smart plan was it to name it that? Every time I go to write it I have to use the word 'was' twice in a row.
A rift between darkness and light, lacking in both.
Eternal.
Eternal strength to push the two states of being apart to create a state of non-being.
Strength.
Power.
Power to be harnessed, by me. Vexen, last of the nobodies. Or am I? Zexion was always a master of illusions. Perhaps he still has a form in this world like me, escaping the chaos of all the two-timing and back-stabbing.
Perhaps he can be of some use. May need an extra bit of book smarts for this.
The Diary of number IV, Vexen.
Oh and if Axel happens to be alive and is reading this, you sir, are officially a douche. Good thing I have my replicas. Ha!
"Wait, why would I write that last part?" Vexen said, leaning against the wall of his self made room in Twilight Town. Picking up his pen he crossed out the last part about the replica Vexens. No need to spill all the details. Sora was still alive and being a goody-goody two-shoes. No sense getting him involved, unless it was completely required.
Vexen headed for the old lab underneath the mansion, used by Ansem the Wise in an attempt to stop the organisation. Too bad the old man died. He may have had some useful data on the void.
