Sakura rushed to her desk and took her place in front of Syaoran. "Ohayou Meilin, Tomoyo, Syaoran," she said breathlessly, swinging her bag under the desk and flopping onto the chair.
"We have two new students Sakura," Tomoyo whispered to her friend, who looked at her strangely.
"But it's almost the end of the year," she said, puzzled as a girl, about a year younger than Sakura, stood at the front. Meilin just shrugged and shhh'ed them.
The girl had straight red hair that stopped just short of her hips. She was also tall and had large dark eyes. Her socks were scrunched down so far that they covered only her ankles, and though it was slightly strange, it made her pearl white legs look longer. Her navy pleated skirt was also longer than the other girls- the hem ended just about her knees. She looked uncomfortable and shy, and a pale pink flush was plastered across her ashen cheeks, an appalling contrast.
The teacher looked expectantly at her, and she looked down at her white shoes so that some stray hair fell over her shoulders.
"Watashi wa Gin Dai Akiko Yamada. Ohayou gozaimasu minna," Gin Dai said quietly, clutching her skirt and obediently sitting down at the front, two seats in front of Sakura, as a boy stood at the front, clearly more confident than Gin Dai.
"Ohayou," he said, flashing a smile at the class. "Watashi wa Chikamasa Daijiro Tamaka." He then took a seat next to Gin Dai.
"Ogenki desu ka?" he whispered, tapping her arm. Gin Dai smiled and nodded, and as Tomoyo and Meilin saw her beaming, they couldn't help but grin. Gin Dai touched his elbow; a gentle, sweet touch that could make anybody cry. "Arigatou gozaimasu," she said softly. Sakura saw this, and felt a sob catch in the back of her throat. She twisted around and took Syaoran's hand in hers.
"Look at them," she whispered thickly, tightening her grip. Syaoran turned slightly red, but squeezed back. "It's so innocent, ne?" one single tear rolled down her cheek. She had been touched so deeply. Syaoran smiled and released her hand, looking over to Meilin and Tomoyo, who were also on the verge of tears and sighed.

Gin Dai pored over her Literature book, occasionally scrawling something on paper that she would show to Chikamasa, who would read it, smile and say something encouraging. Gin Dai would then smile and carry on studying, then writing, and carry on the cycle. Until Sakura passed a note to Gin Dai.

Gin Dai sighed, then tore a page out of her workbook and wrote a not back to Sakura.
Hi Sakura. Question 3 is asking you to write Curriculum Vitae (character profile) on Kuri, the main character. No problem, from Gin Dai.
Gin Dai asked Chikamasa to pass the note back and smiled at Sakura as she read the note. However, when Sakura saw Gin Dai's smile, she couldn't help but smile back. Her muscles involuntarily moved into a grin.
'Here we go,' Sakura sighed, writing up her curriculum vitae. 'I think me and Gin Dai are gonna be good friends.'
