FAMILIAR FEELING
DISCLAIMER
Supernatural belongs to the WB. One-shot scene from the "Pilot" ep from Sam's POV while he was in the car with Constance Welch up to when Sam drives throug the house. Makes reference to Cassie from my "Captive", "Blood Ties", and "House of Fear" fics. I had been thinking 'bout doin' this for a while, and then I saw a review that someone had left for a story that I had read goin' in my direction of thinking. If I can find out who it was, I'll repost w\the credit. I know when I'm finished with a story, I write "The end", but since it's a first-person POV, I'm not gonna. Ends when the car's through the house.
"Take me home," a voice said softly. I jumped and looked into the review mirror. There was Constance Welch in all her ghostly glory.
"Take me home," Constance repeated harshly.
"No," I answered, trying to keep the fear out of my voice. Whatever happened, this witch wasn't gonna get her ghostly hooks into me. Before I could do anything, the lock on the Impala's door went down. I tried it, but to no avail. I went to check the other lock and popped the clutch and then started the engine. I watched in horror as the gas pedal to Dean's Impala suddenly dropped to the floor. As we went down the road, I tried to take control of the wheel, but it was no use. Constance was driving now. My jaw dropped in horror as I looked down the road she was taking me. A few seconds later, we stopped in front of a dilapitated old house.
"Don't do this," I told her.
"I can never go home," Constance said pathetically.
"You're scared to go home," I realized. But why? Why couldn't she go home? Suddenly, she was gone. I looked around. I jumped in surprise as she materialized in front of me. I tensed. I suddenly had this bad feeling. A familiar feeling. One that I had gotten as a kid and had been held captive by a vampire named Cassie. I groaned as she pushed me onto the seat. No. I can't let this happen, I thought frantically.
"Hold me. I'm so cold," she whispered, as she positioned herself ontop of me. Yeah. What do you expect, lady? You're a ghost, I thought to myself. She leaned down and a finger from her left hand moved across my neck seductively.
"You can't kill me. I'm not unfaithful. I've never been," I gasped as she placed her other hand on my neck. I groaned.
"You will be," Constance responded, moving even closer. I groaned again and tried to turn my head. She began to kiss me. Oh, great. It's bad enough that I got raped by a vampire when I was sixteen, now I'm gonna be raped a ghost, I thought ironically. Painfully, I reached out a hand in an attempt to reach the clutch. Constance sat up and glared. Without warning, she disappeared. I looked around. Where was she? Where had she gone? Then a piercing pain went through my chest and I screamed. I unzipped my jacket to reveal holes in my shirt where Constance's hand was. No. I don't wanna die this way, I thought. Just then, there were a series of shots. Constance disappeared. What? I wondered fuzzily. What had happened? Constance reappeared, and then there were more shots. Relief washed through me as I realized there could only be one person at the other end of the gun: Dean. Dean, who would risk life and limb for me. Dean, who wouldn't let some ghost-chick kill me. 'Cuz he was my older brother, my protecter. And for that, I was grateful. Making a decision, I painfully sat up. It was time to take care of this chick.
"I'm taking you home," I declared. With that, I floored it. Ignoring Dean's horrified look, I drove right through the house.
