"What happened in here?" Zexion's voice was barely audible, yet silenced all others as he walked slowly into the kitchen.
Every inch of white marble countertop was stained a different color of the rainbow; the culprits seemed to be seven bowls of dye next to the refrigerator. A giant basket in the center of the room was filled with green plastic shavings and candy. There were holes that were obviously for eggs, but every hole was empty.
"You're trying to celebrate Easter, aren't you?" He crossed his arms and glared at each of the Nobodies in turn – Xigbar, Roxas, Demyx, and Axel. All four looked sullenly to the ground like children being reprimanded.
Zexion sighed. "Well, you'd better have this cleaned up by the time Xemnas gets back from the Room of Sleep."
Even though he knew he was going to regret it, Six took a glance at the eggs the four had created. An assortment of eggs with bright colors and musical notes marked Demyx's pile, but those eggs seemed to be the only ones fully intact.
Zexion guessed that Axel's giant pile of ash had formerly been eggs – he didn't even want to know the story behind it.
It looked as though the clumsy Roxas had made an attempt at coloring the eggs, but they didn't quite make it to the basket in one piece. Six guessed that this had something to do with the water sloshed over the floor.
Xigbar's eggs all had bullet holes through them. End of story.
Zexion, sighing again, left the room.
The four were quiet for several moments, looking to each other and then the door to make sure that Six was really gone.
"So…how are we gonna clean this up?" Demyx surveyed the rainbow countertop and the water on the floor.
Axel scratched the back of his neck. "Well, we can't pour the dye down the sink, so…"
"And we can't just throw these out." Xigbar held up two full cartons of eggs.
Roxas giggled and got another pot out of the cabinet, which Demyx proceeded to fill with water. Xigbar carefully placed the eggs in the water, then Axel stuck his hand in it until it was boiling.
"So Zexion was never here." Roxas said with a grin.
"Agreed."
"Agreed."
"Agreed."
