On this green and blue marble spinning around in space, there live a race who call themselves 'humans'. These creatures live their lives in blissful ignorance of all the supernatural events which transpire around them constantly.

Their people have a saying that is most popular. In reality, (and not the false reality in which the humans believe to be the truth) the opposite is quite true. What you don't know can hurt you. Immensely.
