As I waited patently in the shadows, I heard two people approaching. It was a boy and a girl. The girl had aquamarine hair pulled back and crimson eyes. The boy had long red hair, and bright green eyes. They were walking hand in hand. Although they had the appearance of humans, I could smell what they really were.
I stepped out of my hiding place. "Hello…" I purred. They both stopped, and released hands instantly. "My my my…a demon couple out on a stroll," I said, smirking.
"Who are you?" the boy asked, eyes narrowed in dislike. I paid him no mind. Instead, I turned to the girl, as she begain to tremble with fear. Before the boy could even take a step closer, I had shoved him aside, and was bending in front of the girl, at eye level. I moved closer, and whispered in her ear," Are you…afraid of death…?" She began to shake violently. The boy took a step closer again, But I turned and shoved him to the ground with ease. I bent down again, and kissed the girl. I gave her the Kiss of Death.
When I pulled her away, she was falling down to the ground, dead. I turned to boy, who was on his feet now, but when he saw his lover fall, had frozen with fear. In an instant, I eye level with him as well. I pressed my cold, bloodless finger against his cheek. "Don't worry love…death isn't that bad… trust me…I've died before…" I murmed as I kissed him as well. He was dead before he hit the ground.
