A/N Read and review! I accept constructive criticism, but don't get too flame-happy.

Albus Dumbledore had a strange fascination with muggles, which is why he spent the summer exploring the muggle world. His first muggle adventure was to go shopping in a muggle mall.

Albus had no idea how muggles came up with so many things! They were geniuses! It was just like Diagon Alley, only indoors! In all his years (and he had to admit, he was quite old) he had never seen anything quite like it. It even had a fireplace, which, although it was most likely not made to be part of the floo network, had worked perfectly well for Albus.

Only one thing about this place puzzled him. What could the shops all sell? He had done some research, and they were definitely shops. They could sell muggle clothes, but why would they have an entire building just for clothes? If they didn't have a wand shop, and they didn't sell cauldrons or anything else magical, what could they sell?

Albus thought all of these things as he walked through the shopping mall, until he came upon a muggle lolly shop. He walked into the shop, and a flood of childhood memories came to him. He saw some of his favorites, including Sherbet Lemons (called Lemon drops in America) and Freddo Frogs. Freddo Frogs had been developed when a wizard living in a muggle community began to miss wizarding lollies. Thinking of chocolate frogs, he created Freddo Frogs. They were almost like chocolate frogs, except made without magic. Also, they didn't come with cards of famous witches and wizards (what would a muggle's reaction be if the character on their trading card walked out of the picture?) Albus looked around in awe as he saw all of his favorite muggle sweets compiled into one place. It was truly magical (although not in the literal sense of the word). He purchased a large amount of Sherbet Lemons and other sweets, which caused people to stare. He didn't understand what was so unusual about buying ten pounds of sweets, when else would he get a day off to come to the muggle shopping mall? His stash needed to last as long as necessary, for the next break from Hogwarts was not for a few months.

Carrying his large assortment of lollies, (which was beginning to get rather heavy) Albus made his way to a surf shop. He did need some swimming trunks, and muggles wore the same kind as wizards. Inside the shop there was a wall covered in flip-flops, which intrigued Albus. He purchased a pair, along with some dark blue swimming trunks with stars on them. He bought this particular pair because they matched the robes he was wearing. He hoped that the only reason people were staring was because they thought his outfit was well matched, and not because muggles did not wear swimming trunks with matching robes. Although Albus thought he looked rather stylish, the repeated whispering was making him quite uncomfortable, so he returned to Hogwarts to begin the school year in his robes and matching new swim trunks (after putting his sweets in his office, of course)
